Choosing friends is just like selecting stocks into your portfolio

In the good times,
You need positively-correlated stock that gives you huge return,

When you are rich,happy and healthy,
you need happy-go-lucky friends that celebrate your joy,
double/triple your excitement,
dance with you into the endless night!

Most of the stock in the market belongs to this category,
You can have plenty of stocks with outstanding peformance during the good times,
but all of them fail terribly during the bad times.

In the bad times,
You need negatively-correlated stocks that gives you some minor return
when everyone loses money;

When you are broke, heartbroken and ill,
you need friends there to listen to your misery,
they will lend you the shoulder if you feel like crying.
they will concern of you sincerely

Thie group of stock is very rare,
it takes patient, perserverance and some luck to locate it.
This stock is often neglected,
because they don't shine during the good times,
they are not competent to speak for themselves,
they are always the overlooked stock,
they are the laughing stock among investors,
they are the left-behind.

In stand alone case, this stock will never be considered
You may even dislike this stock
but
this stock may be chosen to complement your portfolio,
makes your investment prosper during the shining days,
and survives through the rainy days.

The ideal case,
The best stocks it those that perform in the rain and shining day
But that's only an ideal case.

Making friend is simple,
Investing in the right friend is the challenge.

An investor who are always hesitating which stock to invest,
will never reap profits in the good times.

Golden words here is,
treasure every friends around you truthfully,
dedicate yourself entirely into the friendship,
trust him/her sincerely,
If thats the wrong investment,
you suffer,
but soon you recover
and starts to treasure your next friendship.

Thats the cycle of life.
No pain, no gain!

典型的地雷，爆发在不知不觉中，
虽然这可能是场玩笑，但一点都不好玩；
自小你很爱说话，但还是不会‘说话’，
病从口入，祸从口出，
当大家在高谈阔论的说“废话”时，你总是不小心踩到地雷。
当大家外出游玩，你得意忘形时，误踩地雷，会引火上身。
当你偶尔返老还童，玩着闹，地雷“轰“的一声惊醒梦中人！

地雷，
你不知它在何处，当你侥幸存活时，
你也不会被告知下一颗在哪。
纵使你拉着嘶哑的嗓子，
到处向周围的朋友求救，
他们回过身，
投以同情的眼光，耸耸肩，无奈的微笑，
你明白了，
由始至终你都是独自上路。

这只是未来办公室政治的前奏，
今却足以令你寝食难安，
很伤，很痛。

一个高傲的人，
憎恨消极的想法，
不愿逃避问题，
越大的挑战只会激发更多的斗志；

但
在四面地雷，
解释等于狡辩的情况下，
不得不松手，
无奈的抱着“好男不与女斗”的心态阿Q自己一番，
三十六计走为上，
但愿天涯海角自有留人处！

[MBA] Financial Management

Financial Management- one of the most feared subject among MBA courses,
taught by deputy dean, Prof Shamsheer
His teaching is more to applied financial theories to real world economy
as he assume his student had prepared the chapters before the class
This is a huge pressure especially to student without finance knowledge like me,
but
the positive side is it pushes me to prepare before the class to understand his lecture.
to me,
Fetching knowledge from knwledgible lecturer is more important than grades,
however,
Obtaining good grade in the killer-lecturer hand is a great satisfaction.. (nonsense time again ^_^)

"What is the positive impact of economy recession?"
people usually discuss about negative things during recession,
one of the positve thing is the rise of bond price.
Recession, productivity falls, demand falls, supply falls, interest rate drops
Bond price will increase which is reverse to share price.

"Impact of goverment printing $"
symptom of bankruptcy
Country printing money causing lots of $ after little goods,
inflation rise,
goverment interfere interest (INT) rate to rise,
INT rise, $ become lesser, inflation drops, (short term)
increase productivity to overcome short of goods which cause inflation (long term)

"Government stimulus plan inject $ into share market, discuss"
$ injected in to share market, financial assets increase, but NOT real assets
government anticipating on business activity to increase real assets,
IF only it works.. will it??

It may be a tough time picking up the financial definations and calculations,
but
risk and return, bond (warrant), stock, cost of capital is everything around us daily
At least it is what a normal ah pek will read in newspaper in kopitiam.
and at least i should know what the ah pek is reading/talking
