Cons :
-Dirty. You lived amid the Hutonger, they spat everywhere, spoke loudly. Walked along narrow and small back alley. Not everyone can tolerate their living habits.
-Closet MRT was 20minutes walk away to 安定门站, two nearest bus stop,宝钞胡同 and 交道口南 are 3 minutes and 8 minutes away from our hotel. Hence we depended heavily on the local buses.

Tips for online hotel booking:
1. Compare the prices (final price, some displayed price exclude service charges) from a few established booking sites such as i) agoda.com ii)hotelclub.com iii)expedia.com etc which ever you can find.

2.For booking at expedia.com, they allowed cancellation at 72 hours before check in date with full refund.
The refund will be credited into your credit card account. Take advantage on this feature to save on fluctuating forex. (I cancelled my initial booking at Traditional View Hotel and re-booked when I saw a lower price. This can be done by calling Expedia.com at their toll-free number. Helpful staff helped me to save RM30/night)

Local transportation
Its advisable to get a public transportation card, hereafter known as 一卡通, which gave up to 60% discount

80% of our trip was by local buses, charged at merely RMB0.40/trip (w 一卡通), or RMB1 (w/o 一卡通)
15% of out trip was by subway, charged at RMB2/trip (with or without 一卡通)
5% of our trip by taxi.
Reason of depending heavily on bus
1. cheap
2. Complete coverage to most attraction spots.
3. Frequent.
4. Gives access to "remote" areas accessible via taxi only.

Combine with the link above, it creates marvel and convenience for traveling using local buses.

How to use these program and the bjbus.com:

1. Check the bus number that travels between 2 locations
ie: I am staying near 交道口南(起点），going to wangfuJing 王府井路口北（终点）,the routes showed in bjbus.com are 特11, 104快，108. (you may search the detail of each bus route desired at bjbus.com)

2. Verify the bus route using android 北京公交查询（离线）. You will see the list of bus stops that the respective bus pass by.

3. Wait at the bus station with the respective bus number, verify whether the current bus is following your desired routes using Android 北京公交查询（离线）

The availability of GPS revolutionize backpacker's travelling experience. Be sure you have GPS that was connected using satellites signal, or you will have to pay the hefty data charges using China Mobile.

I had my Garmin Asus A50, which was a hybrid- garmin GPS android mobile phone.

Family reunion Sabah trip : Day 4- Kinabalu Park - Tuaran

Woke up to the sound of bird chirping, this is the last day of our Sabah trip.
9am: Drove to Kinabalu Park which is merely 500m from our J residence.

The foreigners were warming up for the challenging climb to the highest peak in southeast asia.

I started my PR to greet an old caucasion, who is at early sixties, trying to tackle Mt KK.
"You are not joking, are you?" i thought.

10am : returned to hotel for breakfast. Simple breakfast at the veranda.

11am : Checked out from J residence, photo with the staff, Miss Imelda, local from Tamparuli, kind and warm hearted lady that is very helpful. Thanks to both of them for helping us starting the fire during our BBQ.

Definitely a top recommendation for J Residence!

"How much i hope i could come with my love one to this secluded place again, instead being the master planner, I want to just chill and relax with her, provided that she will appreciate the beauty of mother nature." I looked blankly at our little chalet for the last time before leaving this lovely place.

Won't want to miss the scenic view. Behind was the Starex that drove us in the last 2 days.

1pm: Eating Tuaran Mee at Tuaran town. This shop is located just opposite Shell petrol station when you reach Tuaran town. The lunch is only RM39, authentic and tasted superb.

2pm: A short visit to UMS, too bad the aquarium is closed. It was the semester break, hence the campus is very quiet.

3pm: Return the car to Hertz at KKIA T1. Rental for 2 days was RM414.60 inclusive of Liability Reduction of RM20/day. Additional chargers of RM80 for returning the car 2 hours late. Penalty charges of RM30 for bringing seafood into the car which left an unbearable stench in the car. I was terribly bad about that. Total Hyundai Starex rental : RM524.60
Our flight took off on time at 6:30pm, and we left the beautiful land under the wind with memorable experience. Lastly, Kundasang is a beautiful place not to be missed if you are travelling to KK!

This was my 3rd time travelling to KK (excluding work trip). The previous visit to KK and Kundasang gave me the confident to organize the trip here. I am always looking forward to revisit the places and share the exotic destination with my family and friends. There will be different experiences travelling with different people.
Hence, next time when I told you I am going places again, you know i will be discovering wonderful places to share it with you!

Cooling temperature at 16C in the morning, we woke up from the coffee aroma. The old ones were already having their coffee at the veranda, reading papers, breakfast ready. The calm morning, with sun shining gently at our doorstep, few sudden shivering when the cool breeze swept past us. It was a lazy morning, everyone just take their own sweet time, joking a little over the breakfast.

10am : Arrived at Sabah Tea. The factory was closed due to Hari Raya Haji, anyway my brother already frowned at the idea of visiting factory when we were on the way.

Quickly snapped few scenery of Sabah tea plantation, which were rated below average, much worse compared to those in Cameron Highlands.

Next, we went to the famous Tagal fish spa, which is situated right after the entrance to Sabah Tea Plantation. This is a highly anticipated event. The entrance fees was RM5/adult for 15minutes fish spa session.

Located in Kampung Luanti, Ranau, 131 kilometers from Kota KInabalu (2 hours and 40 minutes drive away); this fish massage ‘spa’ is managed by the Kampung Luanti JKK and lead by Mr. Jeffrin Majangki.In the Local Kadazandusun dialect, ‘tagal’ means ‘no fishing’, and the main purpose of the ‘tagal’ is to preserve the environment as well as the ecosystem to benefit the future generation. ‘Ikan Pelian’ or Malaysian Mahseer comes from the family of Cyprinidae. These fishes are specifically trained by the villagers to perform the healing massage activities.

The fish massage is deemed to have a curative effect on those who suffers from psoriasis. Come to Kampung Luanti for regular fish massages and you will enjoy smoother and suppler skin - just like a baby’s bottom.

Mum is always the one who stayed behind us upon reaching a destination. She carefully packs all the things needed and make sure everything is in order. Appreciate that!

We were greeted by swarm of Ikan Pelian when we are getting into the river. The fishes began sucking your legs the moment your legs were in the river.

Mind you, each of this Ikan Pelian were about 20cm long, not those fish spa you saw in malls. I enjoyed the tickling sensation by the fish, but my poor mum and younger sister were screaming on top of their lung when the fishes began kissing their legs.

It was not the pain, but the sight of so many huge fishes around their legs horrified them.
We were given a packet of fish feed to feed the fish.

We were told to grasp the fish feed tightly in our hands, let them fishes sucked hard before they get it, no hard work no gain, thats how the fishes were trained.

However, i did feel one or two different species fish, which had little teeth, there was a bit of pain when they bite you. As a diver i knew drastic movement may scare hurt the fish, hence i kept legs swaying slightly under water.

After lunch we went to Poring canopy walk. The entrance fees was RM3/adult, canopy walk was another RM3/adult for those with MY card. This is not for those faint heart or those with height phobia.

This canopy walkway is a must visit for anyone who ever sets foot in Poring Hot Springs. Take a stroll amidst the lush canopy of the Menggaris tree—king of the forest—the walkway is 157.8 meters long and 41 meters high.

We had to trekked through a jungle path for 30 minutes before reaching the canopy walk. My mum was horrified at the idea of hanging bridge, her face turned pale when she saw the hanging bridge. However we wonder where and how she got the courage to walked through the canopy walk without turning back. She said it was my dad who huddled her all the way that make her feel safe. ~Love is in the air~

God i was here 3 times, yet my leg still trembled when i looked down.

After the excitement at the canopy walk, it was time to soothe our aching legs. Yeah, the Poring hot sulfuric spring. We occupied three bathtub and enjoyed ourself in the hot spring. Gosh you can feel your skin became smooth and moisturized after 15mins in the sulfuric-rich mineral water.

6pm - It began getting dark, we decided to call it a day. Set off for dinner at Ranau and back to hotel. Exhausted, all of them felt asleep on the 30 minutes drive back to Ranau town

The restaurant@Ranau where we had our dinner, Dinner was only RM39. Recommended!

Family reunion Sabah trip : Day 2- Kundasang

7:30pm -BBQ session

Everything was good in Tune Hotel, except there is no window in our room. You won't know whether it is morning without looking at your watch. Personally i hate staying in an enclosed unit without sunshine, makes you feel like zombie.

Checked out, we took the free shuttle bus from One Borneo to Warisan Square. The shuttle bus arrive at the back lane of One Borneo, those who wants to take a bus need to get the ticket which is on a first come first serve basis. We are lucky to get there early and few poor guys were left behind as they didn't get bus ticket from counter even though they arrived earlier than us.

Breakfast at See Hing restaurant, famous for its Tuaran Mee. After that, i went to KKIA to take our MPV rented from Hertz at RM180/day (Best rate you can get in KK town, FYI, go online hertz malaysia website for the best online rate). We were given Hyundai Starex 2.5L.

This 8-seaters-beast is definitely powerful, you can feel the power of the diesel engine when it was tested on rough terrain, and up a slope; mileage cheap at 400km for RM80 = RM0.2/KM. The leather seat is comfortable, entertaining audio system incorporating VCD, DVD and MP3 player. The feature i love best is the reverse camera that will be displayed whenever i switched to reverse gear on the LCD screen.
Its sheer pleasure driving this stallion up the winding hill path.

There will be a BBQ for the dinner, hence we went to buy some food materials esp seafoods in the local wet market.

The scenic view along the way to Kundasang is mesmerizing. Mt KK lives up its name as one of the world heritage. This was my second time driving to Kundasang, and each time i enjoyed the journey so much. The formation of cloud around peak of Mt KK is so different, hence different scenery every time.

We arrived at Desa Dairy Farm at 3:30pm. Just in time to watch the live extraction of fresh cow milk.

This place is known as the the local New Zealand, which is situated on the way to Mesilau park.

We tasted the freshly extracted milk. We think it tasted really different. But not recommended for those who were sensitive to lactose.

We really enjoy the BBQ session out in the cool night, with we are the only group occupying the BBQ common area.

J Residence is rated the best accommodation at Kundasang area by Tripadvisor. It was constructed by the slope, hence you get to see beautiful valley scenery out of your room's window. There were only 5 houses, which gave you the privacy for family or friends outing. It is also perfect for honeymooner to just chill and spend their time amid the cool, refreshing mountain air.

Reunion Sabah trip - Unforgettable taxi experience in KK town

4/11.(Friday)
7pm- arrived at KK T2 airport.
8pm- dinner at Welcome Seafood at Asia city
10pm- checked in Tune Hotel KK

Upon arrival at airport, we bought a airport voucher for MPV at RM42 to Welcome Seafood restaurant at KK town. The unscrupulous taxi driver drove us to another restaurant 300m, (Twin Sky restaurant if not mistaken), lying to us this is the place, and the MPV was gone in a blink. The waitress (who collaborate with the taxi driver) from that restaurant tried to make us stay for dinner but with no avail. We insisted of going to Welcome Seafood restaurant. Starved, we dragged our bulky bags across few roads and reached the hotel in 15mins.

Saefood is the selling point, the best shell dish had been sold out. We accidently ordered prawn mantis, which was RM120/kg. Here is how the waiter lured us into ordering that.

Waiter : Looked at this prawn mantis, fresh and the must-try in KK.
Me : How much is this? (being cautious)
Waiter : Arhh, not to worry, just take three prawns not going to cost much.
Me : Ok, but....... (my dad gave me a disapproving look for probing more)

End up having the seafood dinner at the bill of RM179 for 6 pax. Price moderate, just unhappy that the prawn mantis alone costing RM80 while the oyster is merely RM18 for 3 huge one!

Finished the dinner at 930pm, I knew there was a free bus shuttle at the bus stop in front of Warisan Square, last trip at 10pm. Persuaded my parents into walking another 15mins only to found that the last bus was gone at 9:30pm instead of 10pm. The counter guy acted arrogantly when i queried the schedule discrepancy between internet and actual.

Pissed, we turned to the taxis lined up in front of us. These taxi drivers had been monitoring us since we walked up to the bus station, they knew we were were unable to get a bus to Tune Hotel, definitely had to go to them. Thus just stared blankly at us, without even bother to offer.

We were in the middle of the KK town, 5mins drive to Tune Hotel at One Borneo. Exhausted, with all the luggage around us, helpless to be slaughtered by these cold blooded taxi drivers.

We kept staring at each other for half minute, finally i gave up and walked up to them, putting up a smile and ask for taxi to Tune Hotel and the fare.
"RM40 one car, you guys need 2 cars at least" Taxi driver A said.
Two taxi is fine with me, but I knew the taxi that goes by metre is about RM15, but i know he definitely wont agree.
"Bang, tolong ON meter, kita ikut metre la" I pleaded.
"Kalau nak meter, tunggu la sampai esok pagi. Malam tak der meter lagi" he folded
his arm arrogantly and turned away.
"We are screwed, damn it!" I thought.
"RM20 satu taxi, jumlah RM40, itu harga I bayar pergi One Borneo" i tried to
reasoned out, raising my voice to tell other taxi drivers around.

The guys just sneered at me, ignoring my plea.

"Seems like there is no room of negotiation, fxxk it then!" I thought,
start picking up luggage and all of us began walking.
"It was so late already and its fine for double charge...", my dad began murmuring.

Kept walking, I was struggling in my heart, praying for other taxi to pick us up, i know the fact that we couldn't walk far.
God answered my prayer! The other taxi drivers caught up with us, offering a ride at RM20 and we reached Tune Hotel safely. Thanks for the warm-hearted Samaritan taxi driver!

Thanks for being patience with my rather long winded description, there is a reason for it.

I had been travelling to different countries, fully aware and suffered the slaughter by those tuk-tuks or taxi drivers. I understood their state of poverty. Nevertheless, here even i spoke the native language with them, reasoned out the price with them and yet they insisted on extorting us after looking at the plight we were in.

These merciless blood sucker, they are the black sheep, which many tourists labelled Malaysia as country with unreasonable taxi prices, unscrupulous taxi drivers. There were endless complaint that the drivers were unwilling to switch on the meter although they were supposed to do so. Even me, local breed Malaysian can't handle the atrocity doing, what more the Orang Puteh?

Often they ended up paying the hefty fare and accept the offer, cursing all the way to their destination... Pathetic right?

Family reunion Sabah trip (4th - 7th Nov 2011)

Thought it was cheap, however the 2 x 15kg luggage added on was RM100, totalled to RM292.

PTPTN : Conventional 3% Vs Ujrah 1%

PTPTN is currently offering conversion package from conventional 3% compounding rate (reducing balance) to 1% flat rate Ujrah package. There are some inquires of whether to take the offer.

First, lets calculate how much you can save from the conversion:
Assume : Loan amount : RM20,000.
Repayment period : 5 years to 20 years. Refer to "jadual bayar balik" below.
Analysis on % of saving is based on total loan amount and total interest saving.

To make it simple, 1% of flat rate is equal to 1.89%(20Yr)-1.93%(5 yr) of compounding rate.

Second, what is the covenant included in the Ujrah package:

Repayment via LHDN, inland revenue which means you can't run away.
You will need to inform PTPTN 3 months in adv if you are traveling oversea during the repayment period. (What a hassle!)
Late payment charges of 1%.p.a ONLY vs 3% outstanding loan with max of 3% of your study loan.

Conclusion :
In short, for the 1% of interest rate saving, you will need to comply to those new covenants. Personally, i think the reduction of 3% compounding to roughly 2% compounding rate (1% flat rate) is a worth bargain to convert, especially you are that kind of people who will bring out all your FD to the opposite bank for additional 0.2% higher FD rate.

Previously, many rather save their money in bank instead of paying PTPTN,
Bank FD gives you 3.2% while PTPTN will take away your 3%. Smart huh?

In a nutshell, its up to individual on whether you want to save 1% going through the hassle. Converting to Ujrah will discipline you to pay, unless you are still indulge in the wishful thought that the policy maker may change their mind one day and grant certain % waiver for PTPTN loan in order to haste up recovery of bad debt.

As usual, I was on the journey to work this morning and tuned into my favourite radio channel - BFM.
The breakfast grill of the day is interview between Noelle Lim and JULIE biscuit MD- Mr Sai Chin Hock.
The discussion is regarding the contamination of Julie biscuit series by Melamine which happened in year 2009. (check http://www.asiaone.com/Health/Eat+Right/Story/A1Story20081024-96130.html for detail)

When Noelle asked about the contamination of Julie biscuit, here the answer of Mr Sai Chin Hock. ( Re construed)

I had been running Perfect Food Manufacturing for 26 years. This was the biggest crisis of my life. I was attending meeting oversea when my GM told me that the Singapore Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority had ban Julie biscuit in Oct2008.

I flew back immediately, taking a bath before returning to my factory at Alor Gajah. Before I even reach my office, my GM interrupted me at the door shaking his head and cried :" Julie is over, it is now all gone!"

Sai then said boldly : " I am now back.You step aside and let me handle the situation." .

Later, Sai meets Health ministry and discuss on the matter, and got the green light from MOH to continue marketing Julie biscuit in Malaysia, meet with the authority in Sg, top receiving salary for one year, at the same time paying bonuses to all staff despite stalled manufacturing line, pay the supplier to abolish the perception of defaulting payment and a whole stretch of action plan to revive the shaking company.

I will not elaborate on the whole story.

The essence here is : everyone will be unprepared, even the 2nd hand man is panicky.
Mr Sai shows his leadership when he come back and assure everyone that he will and can solve the crisis.

Everyone trusts and willing to follow his direction.

Leadership-

when you imagine you are the highest authority, your will take up the challenge and overcome it,

You are full of confidence, you are out there to solve it and nothing can stop you from achieving what you want.

When you had this mindset, everyone will follow.

Weight-gain

A man with tight and wide chest, pillow-like chest for her to sleep and hug at night
A man with nicely curved bum, so bouncy to drive her wildest dream.

He felt envy when the a guy hugs with powerful, muscle bulging arms.
He is disappointed when the bathroom scale hardly shows the result,
Many spend hundred to slim down, but he is spending to gain a slight pound,
He will be her man if he is able to gain some serious mass and muscle.

Next time, if you see he is still the 55kg, skinny fella, is wiser not to probe further.
Because you will irritate him as it is the thorn in his heart.

饭间闲谈

茶饭间，大伙儿的话题环绕着女生。

朋友甲：“我有位女性友人对我示好，我已经有了女友，但在实在是受不了诱惑，最终移情别恋了。

朋友乙：“哪位女生能让我们这位风度翩翩的公子哥儿把持不住，莫非天仙下凡？

朋友甲：“老实说,这妞长得倒不错，可以媲美明星的容貌了。若非她三番五次有意无意的向我示好，我也不可能放弃这段三年多的爱情啊。。。！

正当朋友甲正兴致勃勃地描述着自己那美若天仙的新女友时，

朋友乙大表支持的接着说：“对嘛，男人就应该“玩遍天下无敌手”，一番“比较”后，才会发掘哪种女生能满足自己，不要等到结婚后才来后会货不对办。这样也可以避免男人日后出轨的行为。若我有如此艳遇，我也会如此，才不虚此生！”

　在座的女友人反驳：“怎能这样玩弄感情？”

朋友乙表示：“这是你情我愿的事，怨不得人啊！”

朋友甲跟着炫耀着自己的“战立品”，同时形容着自己的英雄史，跟着也分享自己独到的经验，　在座的其余友人皆惊叹“技不如人”。。。

我顿时联想到指鹿为马，把歪理当道理说。
好色之徒，不但不羞耻自己的行为，还到处张扬。
长言道：“ 做贼喊抓贼”　怎么今日的贼反倒到处炫耀自己偷了多少财物，干下多少罪行；不但如此，这还获得听众的认同，追捧？？
道德，礼义廉耻中的羞耻心呢？

我顿时感到无比的感慨，无比的担心，无比的欣慰。
感慨的是，这群所谓社会上的精英分子，受过最好的教育，思维却如此。
担心的是，还有多少纯情女生要成为陪葬品？　（当然现的女生也非等闲之辈）
欣慰的是，朋友甲的前任女友已醒悟了，这种男生真的要不得。

我并非自鸣清高，食色性也，我承认自己是淫贼等鼠辈。
但隐瞒都来不及了，怎会有人在此大肆张扬自己的淫荡史？
或许应该听周星驰的一句话：“地球不适合你，快回去火星吧！ ”

War game, water confidence and white water rafting are physical activities that is fun and promote teamwork
Although this is my second war-game, after the first one in PD last year, I am still fear of terrorist.
Fear, that is probably one of the unspoken reason that I played on defensively.
Fear, is not just during the game, it is in the everyday life too.
I am intimidated/scared when I felt challenged by someone who is having higher status, physically stronger and have a louder voice.
The question about overcoming fear was finally raised.
Fear, not only grows in me, everyone has it, some choose to live under the fog of fear, some tried to escape,

Somehow similarly and coincidentally,

One of my friend, she stepped out and talked about her confidence level. From the day she joined, she was pumped with full confidence until now she is someone with the confidence shattered completely.
It can be tell from her eye contact, body language etc.
What happened?
She lost the confidence people around her are more competitive, have more confident and stronger than her.
She had always been winning, she is almost leading the race until the confident opponent appears...
Did she lose the race to the confident opponent or she lose it to herself?

Fear does not exist in us, it has to be programmed.
Who programmed it? Its us!
We, the owner programmed it into our mind, which can save us from danger,
However, there are times we over-programmed it.
So we un-programmed it by breaking the unnecessary fear,
We break the fear just like breaking a solid pencil with ONE finger!
Sounds disbelievingly? If you believe you can, you can!

To my dear friend who had lost her confidence,
You are now into another stage of growth, with stronger competitor to push you over your current limit
Stronger opponent either crush you or makes you stronger!
Is your choice,

If the situation control your confidence,
you will only lead people weaker than you forever, and you can hardly improve.

However if your confidence control the situation;
stronger opponent will unleash your desire to grow,
it will makes you grow rapidly to be at par with your opponents.

Everyone is actually unique,
Different management styles will have different impact in each scenario.
There is no one for all solution.

For example, you may sounds cocky and determined,
people may think you are over-confident,
That's all their perception,
to evaluate your management effectiveness, here is the 4-4-2 rules

If in any case you have 40% loyal supporter under your style,
you are then on the right track to refine it, perfect and strengthen this style.
The next 40% will joins you gradually when you are confidence to stick to your style and refine it.
The final 20% will never join you, they will try to oppose whatever thing you say,
so why care for that 20%?

The great President Obama was reported to win the US 2008 election with deep and broad victory, however it is just merely 52% support !

So, if you are thinking of getting more than 52% of the support in your organization, you can actually set your goal to become the next president of US, because so far only the great Obama achieves that!

Look around you, you actually have so many supporters, there just want to see you are confident, and they will follow you.
Great leader makes right decision, nobody cares whether it is right or wrong, they follow!

My dear friend,
you are the great leader of tomorrow,
the competitors around you are meant to improve and upgrade your skill sets.
Climb up from where you fell,
And you will strive confidently than ever.

Ugly duckling

Ugly duckling - the book i read when I was 6 yrs old. Particularly love the happy ending.

A little bird was born in a barn with a swarm of ducklings. The fur is dark and uneven. It is always bully by its' barn mate because it looked different and ugly.Until one day it grows up and turned into a beautiful swan, wading solemnly in the pond with the swan family. The ducklings which they grown up together, felt shocked and ashamed, because the ugly duckling had turned into a graceful swan.

Now,

Lets probe into further detail, how does the ugly duckling feels when it was bullied? What if the ugly duckling turned into an ugly clumsy duck rather than a swan? How long does it takes for the ugly duckling to evolve into a swan?

Being bullied, the ugly duckling will definitely feel uneasy and unhappy. When the situation persist, the ugly duckling begins to lose its confident, it will walk with head down and scare to look at others. As it never knows it will turn into a swan one day.When the day come and it evolve into a swan, it still waddle like a duck.. Other ducklings will now laugh harder at the 'queer duck' or may think it is "a duck in swan outfit". What if the day never arrive, is the ugly duckling going to bow its head for the rest of its life?

In the next scenario, the ugly duckling who is belittled by it's mates, instead of losing confident, it is now trying to prove to the mates that it is a swan. How? The ugly duckling begin to walk and waddle like a swan, although it is a duck. What happened? The mates may still smirk at it, but all the passerby will thought it is a swan wading in the pond. Finally? Everyone assume it as a swan although it may be born as a duck.

Born-loser in the first scenario, but Born-winner in the latter.

Dear ugly duckling, ya I am referring to you, people may think we are slow learner, weak, incompetent, incapable and looked dumb and stupid, but why cares about their perception? Those who think/say that will not donate to make you success.

"Just as i said" they thought when you become a swan that still looks like a duck.

Now its all up to you, whether you want to be swan.

You may not end up becoming a swan, but should be close to that.

There will be a higher chances when you choose to believe.

That's what I learned from Hans Andersen in his famous fairy tale today.

巧遇善良人

人生路上，我有不少贵人相助。
今天又幸运的遇到一位 - 善良人（比用好人感觉有墨水点)

他善良，
他常常想找机会帮助人，
他觉得人生来到世上，
除了基本责任要完成以外，

应该做个有贡献的人，

为什么要做个有贡献的人？
因为他觉得就算单薄力量的付出，
也会有少人感觉到这份付出，
这少人的世界会顿时晴朗起来，
其中少少人会被感动
而加入付出的行列
复制，复制，在复制,
复制的力量，始于他！

这世界有太多名利熏心的人，
总要有人开始净化工作，
这份工作也是一种贡献。

这位善良的朋友，
他人缘极好，
同事很喜欢他，
同事故意利用它，

他认为这种强出头的做法是一种贡献，
就算不能制止恶势力，至少恶势力蔓延的慢。

他这种扮超人的做法，鹤立鸡群，
这种致死地而后生的人，叫人不得不为他捏把冷汗

他其实也非极端分子，
且有智慧。
面对强大对手时，
他会避其锋头，
不主动出击，处于防守，
敌人认定他害怕而往往掉以轻心，

Grooming and Etiquette

Creating a winning professional image. Just like product branding, if customer can fall for the product at the first sight, the branding is successful. In short, first impression. The moment you decide to put behind your specialized skill , you have committed yourself in the naked combat with others, to impress the people you met. Unlike engineering field where you settle amicably in the comfort zone once you developed the expertise that people rarely have, even if the boss is not impress, he still needs your skill to complete the puzzle.

Hence, utmost gratitude to my company for having such session for us. Below is the key areas we should be aware of:

Communication: Visual (body Language) : 58%
Vocal : 38%
Verbal : 7%
Talking about clothes matching, 3 areas to look after:- Warm and cool, Dirty and clean , contrast
Warm colors are more yellowish: brown, cream, teal, olive green, brightred, peach,violet CANNOT mix with cool colors such as Blue, fresh green, pink, gray, purple. Black/white is neutral/cool.

Dirty/clean : Pinkish complexion people can wear either all dirty/ clean clothes, but for yellowish people like me =.=" i have to wear clean colors shirt, if not i will become invisible. Colors such as gray blue, light brown will makes me unnoticeable.

Contrast: make sure there is only one pattern from the shirt and tie, although both can be stripped differently, but only one should be noticed.

Repeat your colours. Edge of calf with "V" area exposed, repeat color of tie

Tie : Length of tie should be at the belt buckle.
Belt should be 2 fingers wide

Hierarchy:
Coat/blazer/suit : Suits that got extra pine strip has higher hierarchy, Younger people goes for 2 vents. Shirt sleeves need to come out from suit slightly, 2 buttons and 3 buttons no different.

Shirt : Plain shirt > Pine > chalk strip shirt in terms of hierarchy. Do not buy Durban/John Master/ Elba which the design is usually not slim fit type. Brands such as Seeds, Padini and Topman should be the choice.The top opening should only allows 2 fingers width

Calf-ling: makes thin and malnourished looking people like me gain the banker look, since i am lack of the round prosperous face.

Pant : Never get the wide/baggy/ too long pants, must be able to allows the sight of butt protrude sharp. No strips/flips at the front.

Shoes : best with square front, round seems old fashion and makes u look shorter, best with lace called oxford shoes.

Handshakes : while shaking hand, always held your left hand behind customer to be warmer. (forget what purpose d)

Meeting client: always be on your customers right side, cornering tactic and left brain interpretation is more positive

Introduce to people with higher authority first rather than the reverse way.

Welcome! This is the first time ever experience for our family to go traveling during CNY.

14th Feb 2010 - DAY 1

On 14th Feb , the first day of CNY, we set off at 9am. We headed to Putrajaya Lakeside Seafood for lunch and Yee Sang session.

Next we parked our car at Putrajaya Central as this is the only place where you can park for FREE and security patronizing the car park hourly, connected to KLIA via KLIA Express.
We took KLIA Express to the airport.

I traveled in MAS because AirAsia ticket price had gone up so much when i wanted to purchase.
I was upgraded to MAS business class when there is no more economy seats. Wahoo!

First time ever in the business seat. a crew specially reserved to serve the eight of us in business class. The food and beverages menu are also different from economy. Luxurious!

I arrived at Bali 2 hours earlier than them. (MH853 1450-1710). I hired a taxi to check into Kuta Tune Hotel to check whether the room condition is acceptable.
I waited at Ngurah Rai Bali Int Airport arrival hall impatiently, looking at the announcement board impatiently.

Their AirAsia flight - AK366 1700-2010, finally landed at Bali. They walked out at 8:30pm, smiling faces and excited breathing the Balinese air despite an exhausting day.

"Welcome to Bali!" the eye catching board welcoming our arrival to this Romantic land with golden rays of sunset.

Our driver, Ngurah Ketut was at the airport waiting for us with my name on his little board which he is waving frantically. He could hardly understand English, luckily we are able to communicate in Bahasa.

Accommodation at Kuta Tune Hotel is RM35 per night per room with 12 hours aircon.
My parents love the bed and shower in Tune Hotel, they pointed out : " We only spend a night in the hotel, as long as the aircon, bed and shower is super good which I am more than happy!"
WX said :" The powerful shower washed away my ache/sore, the 5star bed recharged my body to its MAX!"

I knew 2 nights stay in Kuta and Legian Tune is the perfect choice.
"Again, Tony is on the right track.." I think.

After everyone bathed, we had our dinner Made Warung, recommended by forums and travel books for its avocado juice. After a filling and sumptuous meal, the bill was RM89.01.

"It is definitely not cheap." dad commented on our first meal.
We nodded in agreement.
The first day ended with our taste buds satisfied by the creamy avocado juice. yummMMMY!!!

15th Feb - DAY2

The bed is too comfortable making everyone too lazy to wake up. Before 9pm, Ngurah was waiting in the hotel lobby. We had a simple breakfast, which the food is the most awful and cost us RM52!
We began moving north. We stopped at a handicraft market on our way north. Shopping haven for the ladies. Bought bracelets, shorts, shawls etc We reached Kintamani at 2pm for buffet lunch. We missed the spectacular volcanic mountain view due to heavy mist and clouds. The wind is chilling and environment comfortable.

Next we visited coffee/coco plantation. An educational trip here, to see how the coffee beans are cooked.

闲言闲语

A 君，很合眼缘，共处的时光里，几乎无所不谈。
或许他是很好的聆听者，无论吃饭，读书，游戏，出街总是让我在发表“博士“伟论，
我也借此管道宣泄我爱分享的个性。
他总是默默的在听，不时来几句赞美语，让我一发不可收拾。
我的以为认识了投缘的知己了。

A 君呢，其实十分好胜，这也许造就他今日的成功。
他有着那种要超越周围人的企图心，
曾经说过，“证明给我看你多强，我会强过你“
我不以为意，只觉得这是健康的学术竞争。

慢慢的，他开始与我的朋友组织关系，
   他组织朋党，
   我越来越少受邀出去，
   我被边缘化了，
   我的曝光率少了，
   我几乎被遗忘了，
   可笑的是，我浑然不知，
A 君仍常常伴我左右，
我一厢情愿的以为我和A君异常投缘。

直到有次聚会，几位昔日的好友突然冷言相待，
身为知情者的他呆坐在旁，也不肯出言相助。
我开始怀疑事有蹊跷，
   又发现好几次A君借故离开，说有约会，我以为是他女友，
   谁知都是整班我们的朋友，为何就不能叫买我一起去呢？

   慢慢的发现，我对他的了解十分有限，而他对我的背景却了如指掌。
   他之所以默默聆听，或许是要了解对手，
孙子兵法：知己知彼，百战百胜。
   眼见学术上无法超越对手，只好从其他方面下手。

其实，或许是我说话的嚣张，锋芒毕露而招来憎恨和嫉妒，
对我来说，我毫发未损，损失不大，
本也无需理会他。

   我有感而发的是人类的 “好胜心“
   这好胜心本事好事，能鞭策人努力向上，激励自我。
   但是，若经过鞭策和激励后仍无法达到理想的位置时，
   情况会否因此起了一百八十度转变？
   为了超越对手，趋向极端，　甚至不择手段造成毁灭性的伤害也在所不惜。
   岂不可怕？
   水能载舟，依能覆舟。

   就看个人的本性了！

现实生活中，无论政治和职场上不乏口蜜腹剑，笑里藏刀之辈，为了权利和金钱，不惜接近对手借以除之而后快。

这不愧是个社会大学！

"There is no free lunch in the world", this had been the old teaching that our parents/elderly advised us. This the the word of wisdom, which I am nobody to challenge that. At the same time, we are using our creativity to scout for "free lunch" in the world. Lets start the series with the introduction to ASB investment by PNB

ASB loan - Amanah Saham Bumiputra for BUMIPUTRA only

So how's the free lunch work here? Nowadays some local banks such as RHB and CIMB offered ASB loan for those interested to invest in ASB but do not have capital, a chance to invest.

Here is how the magic works:
According to the ASB loan repayment plan with current BLR = 6.30%
Subscribe to ASB loan RM100,000 for 15 years.

Monthly installment for 15 years = RM786
Yearly installment for 15 years = RM786 x 12 = RM9,432
Average ASB dividend = 9.5%
Yearly dividend = RM100k x 9.5% = RM9,500

Net gain = yearly dividend - yearly installment
= RM9,500 - RM9,432
= RM68

You TOTAL investment is just RM786 x 12months = RM9,432 paid in advance for the first year.
The end of every year you gonna earn RM68 and RM100,000 for you after 15 years!

Invest RM9,432 for the first year then sit there do nothing and get RM100,000 after 15 years,

isn't it FREE MONEY???

Scenario A :

You refuse that subscribe to ASB loan because you think you are not stupid enough to let bank earn interest on you.

Let see!

You invest RM768 every month for 15 years
Yearly investment = RM768 x 12 = RM9,216
with 9.5% yearly dividend from ASB,
RM9,216(FVIFA i=9.5%, n=15) = RM 281,458.767

Your asset after 15 years = RM281,458.767

Scenario B, you apply for the ASB loan,

Subscribe for ASB loan RM100,000 for 15 years
with the same commitment of RM768 monthly,

ASB year dividend 9.5% = RM9,500 reinvested into ASB fund for 15 years
= 9,500(FVIFA i=9.5%, n =14) + 9500
= RM265,785.11

Total asset after 15 years = RM265,785.11 + RM100,000 = RM365,785.11

Total asset in scenario B is 30% more than scenario A, you think you are acting smart, but the number tells!

Two assumptions made for calculations above:
First, assume that BLR is fixed at 6.30%
Second, assume that ASB is giving dividend 9.5% a year.

BLR will float freely, which when BLR increases, interest increases, and ASB dividend will increase too. If you are worried of the BLR fluctuation, subscribe to ASB Islamic loan, which fixed theprofit rate (int. rate).
The rule of thumb is to make sure ASB interest rate is higher than the BLR rate, then u are on the winning track for FREE MONEY.
For the past 2 years, BLR is below 6% and ASB is giving 8.75 and 8.55 respectively.

Question : What if i cannot afford RM786 installment every month? Should i choose ASB loan with lower amount or longer repayment period?

Try to choose the maximum ASB loan allowable for each individual which is RM100, 000. This is to maximize amount of dividend payout.
Our bank understands your difficulty and has another attractive ASB package where you pay for 3 years interest before paying for principle+interest after 3 years.

For RM100,000 ASB loan (3 years interest + 14 years principle+interest)
Monthly installment for the first 3 years = RM429

Yearly installment for the first 3 years = RM429 x 12 = RM5,148

Monthly installment from year 4 - year 18 = RM989.00
Yearly installment from year 4-year18 = RM11,868

Yearly dividend for ASB @9.5% = RM9,500

For the first 3 years, you pay RM5,148 and receive dividend RM9,500 yearly.
Yearly earning = RM4,352
Total earning for first 3 years = RM4,352x 3 = RM13,056

From 4th year to 18th year, your investment per year = RM11,868 - RM9,500 = RM2,368
Your monthly investment = RM197.33

Your total investment = RM2,368x 14 - RM13,056= RM20,096

Invest total RM20,096 over 17 years and get RM100,000 after 17 years, with free cash flow of RM13,000 in first 3 years, isn't it FREE MONEY???

For your information, the ASB loan is reducing balance method, which means you can pay more when you have extra cash aka. use your RM13,000 from the first 3 years to pay for your debt, which reduce your monthly installment later. However, I still advice you to buy extra ASB units for the RM13,000 you get from the first 3 years, which will be explain in the final scenario of the article.

Question : So what if I just want FREE MONEY and don't want to make repayment for the principle?

We have all kind of request, earning free money without effort is frown upon, however to align with the topic of this article, i will still share how you can earn FREE MONEY without paying the principle, but for illustrative purpose only.

Subscribe to RHB EASY ASB loan (only RHB EASY offers first 5 years pay-interest-only loan)
RM100,000 for 5 years interest and 20 years interest+principle repayment plan.
Monthly repayment = RM429
Yearly installment = RM5,148
Yearly ASB dividend @9.5% = RM9,500

Total earning for 5 years = (RM9,500 - RM5,148) x 5 = RM21,760
At the end of the 5 years, cancel the ASB plan,
The bank will then proceed to sell the RM100,000 they hold on behalf of you as collateral, and charge 1% early exit fees (RM100,000 x 1% = RM1,000)

In short, try to maximize your ASB as early as possible, set it your target to maximize it with all the wealth you have, there is no country like Msia which offers such product at almost risk free.

Problem encountered:
Most ASB loan subscriber are not discipline enough to save the dividend for consecutive year monthly installment. In fact, many of them will spend the dividend in less than 3 months they receive it, resulting in difficulty of ASB loan repayment, and fall into the trap of vicious interest cycle.
CAUTION : Remember, the dividend from ASB does NOT belongs to you before you finish all your installment!!

Remember, whenever you have extra cash, try to buy the maximum ASB units (maximum RM200,000 per individual) possible, after that only you start to settle your ASB loan interest 5%, as it is based on reducing balance method. Not going to spend on them because I cant afford to pay for the branding temporarily.
I still need to invest in physical appearance,
I need to dress up in nice suits/ shirts and matching ties,

How can I mimic their fashion at mininum cost?

I learned that a tie and shirt need to be properly matched.
I was troubled when a kind-hearted Samaritan commented on my non-matching attire (shirt and tie),
Through observation, searching online and visit to Padini and G2000,
I begin to learn how to match the business attire professionally.

Pay-day, much awaited day by many, I am no exception.
The reason i joined bank, is to apply the financial knowledge learned in class
I wanted exposure in different banking division as I am someone who get bored easily with routine job.
I wanted to equip myself with sound banking knowledge.
I wanted to be among the brightest mind, to make sure I always excel.
I wanted to achieve my financial target in certain period.

Hard to believe even i had exceeded the age limit for the post, luck is still with me.
Thanks god, My wish came true.

With the first pay coming, I know I am turning the financial targets into real implementation.
My next plan continues after i passed my probation in 3 months time, the personal loan.
I know i should manage client's wealth, at the same time, I am committed on personal financial plan.
My mind is focused in economics, stocks, financial plan,
I wont miss the Business section in the newspaper now, which i never touched in the past.

You may not mind, but it is taking away your future opportunity.
Imagine a personal banker and insurance agent( so called financial consultant) joined a community organization, both of them sell same product, have the same professional qualification, same experience in customer relation, but why banker is given position such as treasury, position that required financial knowledge and trust while the insurance agent need to work hard to build his integrity before assigned to treasury position?

In term of personal touch and practical experience, those self-employed business they really train you to become somebody who can melt customer's heart. However the latter is usually training provided by large corporate, training is outsourced which is very professional and fulfilling global standard. The first become the kampung hero but the latter become global player.
Training and work experience in large corporation is more recognized by any third party compare to "private training"

Expectation - Even from the position title of personal banker and financial consultant, the expectation by public to the banker is definitely much higher. How you children, spouse and relative from you is totally different from the 2 position title mentioned.

If your value is just monetary value, i.e. the one earn more is king, you may want to ignore the values I had just mentioned. But i believe in a balance lifestyle, you social value can increase your income, your income can use to buy more social value too.

I always support and like the idea of starting own business or self employed. For those interested in sales and networking, personal banker is a good start. If you are unwilling to be tied in employment, you may get a taste of full-time self employed for insurance or direct sales, but you need to get your Key Performance Index from time to time, ensure that your progress is fulfilled. Moral learned from KL Tower International Towerthon Challenge 2010

On this beautiful Sunday morning, more than 1000 participants gathered at KL Tower. Many are doing stretching, warming up, light jog etc to get themselves into best position to start the run. Many amateurs with professional suits (branded singlet and runner shoes) and foreigners are among the participants.

The run starts at 8am sharp, I was in the 2nd group of Man's open category. The run started with me packed behind the crowd which make me lose the first few metres. ^^. I was waiting for people in front to move before i can proceed
Many were running at high speed up the hill, which the faced the bad consequences at the stairs.
The first 5 storeys, many were seen to be virtually sprinting up the stair, taking 2 steps at a time.
The stairs was quite narrow and it is very humid and suffocating due to perspiration.
After the first 5 storeys, many was found panting and squating beside the stairs, catching their breath.
I felt nauseating, my heart pumping furiously and i was gasping for air.
"Keep breathing deep" i told myself, realizing the i am showing the symptom of insufficient oxygen.
I shift my attention by counting the steps,
Than, i started to leave the crowd of participants behind,
Immediately the situation become better,
There was just 1-2 of us at a stretch of steps instead of 10 just now,
With higher oxygen concentration, i felt fresher with clearer mind.
The limbs are coordinating better although i am still panting like a dog.
The strategic position is walking on the left side.
It is hard to overtake others now as all are exhausted at this level,
Others can block you although very unethical,
Last 3 storeys, when the floor number changed to TH00,
I begun to sprint, and end the challenge.
I was rewarded with a panaromic and magnificent view of KL city,
Felt the sense of satisfaction, not only to complete the challenge,
but to complete it relatively fast

We felt disappointed that we are not told of our time taken for the climb.
We already got the RFID chip on our shoes.
Just a simple system and screen will the job.

The moral.
When we graduated from our educational institution as fresh graduate,
We faced the ferocious competition , some even said that was bloodshed...
We attempt to sprint from the starting point,
And this spirit gradually subsides in 5 years.

Then we started to feel suffocated,
We are now in the low/middle position,
with many competitors fighting over few positions,
The top flyers and lucky ones will be promoted
They began to leave the crowd,
With lesser people around,
there were more "oxygen" for them to develop their career,
They can advance at their own pace,
They are accountable to lesser people.
To overtake them required extra effort as they were already in the strategic position.
Although unethical, but they can easily block you from forwarding.
Same work load, but they gained the advantage to show off their accomplishments.
In terms of quality and capability, some of them in the crowds are better off,
But due to insufficient oxygen, their potential is not unleashed to the fullest.
To them, more effort is required to move one step forward.

As conclusion,
You are fighting among the crowds when you are young,
Once you get promoted to another level and left the crowd,
the world out there is totally different.

“听你妈说你最近交了女朋友，怎样了？“

STORY 1

Today I got my car to be serviced. It was a major service as this is the 3rd 20,000km.

This service centre is located at Kawasan Perindustrian Bkt Serdang
Equipped with the basic facility and a car wash service beside it.
The car wash area is a mere car park sized facility,
"outsourced" to an Indian man in fourties, who brought along his 10 years old son.
They will clean the car entirely after the cars had been serviced.

I was greeted by a young guy (who i knew later to be the tauke's son) ,in his early twenties
He explained the service politely and listen to my problem attentively,
Soon we agreed with the job scope, everything seems to be satisfactory,

Suddenly the Indian car-wash man approaches the young guy,
Car-wash man :"Sana ada satu kereta hitam tak tau siapa punya, nak cuci tak?"
"Apa !!!"The young man yelled at the Indian who is standing 3 feet infront of him
The Car wash man repeated again.
Then the office clerk came out and said that black car is their customer's car who wanted to het his car washed.

Upon hearing that statement,
"Bongok, tak tau tanya orang tu ke? Bodoh betul!!" The young man scolded harshly
The Car wash man looked around, and our eyes met.
He felt shameful, i can feet it, and i switch my glance away.

Then, he and his son walked back to the car and started their chores
He is looking down.
He is an elderly to the young man scolded like a child

I knew this is the common scenario,
from the spontanous words that came out from the mouth of the young man
The tauke(father) and Tau-ke-soh (mother) were in the workshop.
maybe they already got too used to it.

STORY 2

Last week,

One of my "mother-status" friend told me her son was punished in the school
The son threw paper clusters at the teacher when the teacher is writing on the board.
The teacher knew it was his doing and caned him few times on his hands, NOT palm

The mother, heart-broken
went to the school the next day,
demanding for explanations,

She assumed that caning was only allowed on palm,
after the child had been clearly explained of the wrongdoing.
The teacher got irritated and suggested the mother to transfer her son.
The mother was agigated and with her forceful manegerial ton,
The teacher finally broke into tears.

Only than the mother let it off.
I knew the teacher's feeling.
She was very helpless,
headmaster, and school's administration usually will not defend the teacher.
Moreover, the teacher was hinted to apologize.
They were scared of the news to get on the papers.
When that happens, the state education department will investigate the case.

I agreed that the teacher is being unprofessional,
Not rational and hot tempered probably the consequence of 50 students packed in the class.
Caning is suitable only for minor offence such as bad result or late pass-up.
Deliberately opposing the teacher is definitely a major offence.
It is an humiliation to a teacher who is teaching whole-heartedly in class.

If this were to happened 30 years ago, where chinese community used to respect the teacher like their father,
The child who did this will be severely punished in school, probably public canning.
When the child reached home, the father will give him the 2nd round slaps and whipping,
for tarnishing their family's fame or "lose face",

Now not only he was spared from that,
He knew his mother was going after the case, forcing the teacher involved into tears.
Although the mother told me,
She scolded her son for the wrongdoing,
she believes her son will not repeat the mistake again.
Chinese proverb sounds 上梁不正下梁歪
Even the mother had been disrespectful to the teacher,
What more can you expect from the child?

STORY 3

Last month,
My 14 years old nephew, scolded his Kakak from Sumatera.
He was back from school,
blowing up temper when he saw his room was tidied up
"I cakap jangan sentuh bilik saya, awak bodoh mcm babi!"
The Indon- maid understood that,
She just continue mincing the onion in the kitchen
Every members of the family including the child, scolded the maid everyday.
It's too common for her.
The interesting part is,
the commotion took place in the living room,
where the mother was watching TV,
while the father was reading newspaper.
Apparently they heard the arguement,
but they kept silence.

In the 3 true stories above,
the child seems to be kurang-ajar
They scolded the elderly Indian car-wash man,
They threw trash at teachers,
They roared at the maid who tidied up their room,

Nevertheless,
Not only they parents are showing no effort
Their parents even supported their wrongdoing passively,
by keeping themselves silence,
by reprimanding the teacher involved,

FINE ! FINE!
The parents had deprived the learning opportunity of the kids,
They will get away from it,
but
the son and daughter will have to pay a very high price,
for the lessons that they should have learned.

Financial Management- one of the most feared subject among MBA courses,
taught by deputy dean, Prof Shamsheer
His teaching is more to applied financial theories to real world economy
as he assume his student had prepared the chapters before the class
This is a huge pressure especially to student without finance knowledge like me,
but
the positive side is it pushes me to prepare before the class to understand his lecture.
to me,
Fetching knowledge from knwledgible lecturer is more important than grades,
however,
Obtaining good grade in the killer-lecturer hand is a great satisfaction.. (nonsense time again ^_^)

"What is the positive impact of economy recession?"
people usually discuss about negative things during recession,
one of the positve thing is the rise of bond price.
Recession, productivity falls, demand falls, supply falls, interest rate drops
Bond price will increase which is reverse to share price.

"Impact of goverment printing $"
symptom of bankruptcy
Country printing money causing lots of $ after little goods,
inflation rise,
goverment interfere interest (INT) rate to rise,
INT rise, $ become lesser, inflation drops, (short term)
increase productivity to overcome short of goods which cause inflation (long term)

"Government stimulus plan inject $ into share market, discuss"
$ injected in to share market, financial assets increase, but NOT real assets
government anticipating on business activity to increase real assets,
IF only it works.. will it??

It may be a tough time picking up the financial definations and calculations,
but
risk and return, bond (warrant), stock, cost of capital is everything around us daily
At least it is what a normal ah pek will read in newspaper in kopitiam.

I had taken
Accounting for decision making,
Organization Behavior,
Management Economic
Human Resource Managment

Currenly undertaking
Business Law
Marketing Management

Before enrolling into MBA class, i know there is alot of deficiency for me in business and management staff
Although from my working experience, and motivational/ management books that i read,
I feel that there is lack of systematic arrangement of the sequence of my knowledge.

Accounting for decision making:
Read the annual report from the first class until the end of the course.
Intoduced to the idea of Problem Based Learning
The ability to analyse annunal report and make investing decision based on key ratios
I am so interested that i immediately go and analyse DXN annual report , haha
The short coming, we are not taught of debit-credit part
Lecturer always said :"this is the part for your accountant"
Don't get word for word...
Learning accounting without understanding debit and credit is like
driving a car without knowing the buttons in the car.

Organization behavior
Dr Ho taught it using text-book based method, slightly inexperienced
Many concepts are applicable to our behavior
For example the BIG Five personality
Conscientiousness, Agreeablesness, Neurotism, Openess to change, Extroversion
From here only i realize my behavior as introvert disguise of extroversion
Everyone took me as extrovert include me myself,
Indeed
I am someone who can speak, can socialize around, love to be complimented,
But
my preferences is to spent time alone, do some self-reflecting, self planning
thats when i felt i was being loved and got recharged,
thats why swimming gym is my favourite sports

Management Economics
The subject required graph analysis and differentition,
the analytical skills required by every engineer
Definitely is my cup of tea!
I am so interested and curious until i read different economic books in library for their case study
How microsoft get involved in the anti-trust act with its Window95

Human Resource Management
Every manager must deal with human resource.
Learn about different right of employee, employer
Interesting subject taught by ineffective lecturer

Business Law and ethics
Topic sound dull, but this is my another favourtie
Law is simply everything of our daily life
It is so close to us everyday but we not realise of its importance
Worth paying to learn it!

Marketing Management
Doing the assignment, the marketing experience just came into my mind
Eg, market position, distribution method...

In short, everyday is a fresh start for me!
Whenever i am in the midst of enjoying the subject, the course suddenly ended.
Once it is ended, i start to get busy with next semester subject and too lazy to repick the subject
I am looking forward for gaining knowledge tomorrow
Thanks for the engineering course i had taken
Only now i realize thats a total different kind of knowledge,
This is my cup of tea because i always so curious of the subject

Lesson that takes years to learn

"En, what is your expectation of this term paper, is it on data collecting method or evaluation ? " I asked,

I am an avid and active respondents for lectures, talk and seminars. As a listener, i will usually write down my doubts during the speech and voice out my question and opinions in the right time.
When it's QnA session or similar cues given by speaker eg "any question from the ground?"

I wil raise my hand,
The speaker will nod sometimes with a "yes?"
I will start asking in the manner mentioned above.

However, the responses received from the speaker is usually quite unfriendly and sometimes hostile

"Probably my question is too challenging for the speaker until he hasitates and reluctant to answer friendly" I thought

once, twice, trice, 5times... 10 times.....

i sense something is wrong somewhere.
It couldn't be such coincidence that speaker's credibility is challenged everytime!!!
What's wrong then?

During my undergraduates study in UTM, I remembered asking technical question when the class suddenly became silence and weird expression on their face.

"What's wrong with my question ?" I asked my best friend, Teck
"Your style of asking like you want to fight" He said
"How to change then?" i asked eargerly
"Everyone has it's own style, don't know how to say" he commented

I was left alone thinking and observing other asking qeustion.
I don't see differences maybe i am not sensitive enough

Until last week,
After i asked a question
"En, what is your expectation of this term paper, is it on data collecting method or evaluation ? "

Our HRM lecturer, Tn Haji Yaacob leaped up furiously, scolding that he is disappointed with us and spoke in a very hostile way compared to how he behaves normally.
The question may sounds stupid to him, but i know there is more reason for him losing is temper.
In the lectures later.
Sarut asked :" Prof, may i know the is the 2nd and last point the same meaning?"
Then only he answered in a very delightful and happy manner.

I realized my mistake over these years!

My bad encounter only occurs with a Malay lecturer.
The Malay culture emphasis hugely on softness and politeness

Softness - the tone should be soft enough to let the speaker feels your are humble.
The lecturer sometimes commented we spoke to soft, but speaking soft is actually a way their race emphasis , the style of lemah-lembut just like the malay dances, like the way they walk gracefuly

Politeness - politeness in here is not only politeness we showed on face, but also the politeness in WORDS
For example, instead of asking
"Prof, is the 2nd point same as the last point?"
Should ask
"Prof, may i know is the 2nd point same as the last point"
Uses of "may i", "can you pls" is extremely crucial to leave a good recency preception for the speaker

The method of asking i had been using is influenced by the formal way of enquiring in corporate and meeting where the power distance is low between staff.
Eg, CEO can be directly questioned by managers in a polite way, (polite way here may not include the words of humbleness)
It is more efficient compared to bahasa berbunga bunga.

However,now i will abide their culture and practice to create harmony and better outcome.
At least i know my mistakes now.

Study for exam or study for knowledge?
Thats a typical classic arguement for motivated undergraduates.

Study for exam or study for knowledge?
I always choose the latter.
Some said i am too overconfidence with that decision, arrogant?I am who i am.?
But, "I" am just someone i hope i am.
The external factor tend to distract us from our direction
You are study for the coming exam, will you still study for knowledge after exam?

You are left with two choices,
Divert from your direction(study for exam) which is a easier method,
Strive againts many odds to continue in your direction(study for knowledge).
I will choose the latter again
But again how far can that idea persist?

The same scenario keeps repeating again and again in our life right?
We know the best decision but we are always not making the best decision
Maybe we don't dare,
or we don't persevere(insist),
or we just follow,
or we think someone's decision is better
or we just don't want to change

Cost and benefit.
We measure the cost and benefit of not willing to change
We measure the cost and benefit of making changes
We already have the answer even before measuring.

Here comes the answer,
It is what i hope i become,

Tips for a MeAniNgFuL DAY...

I had a great day today!
For past few weeks, i hardly have time for myself.
Thats when i need some REAL personal time.

Can you imagine the feeling of waking up naturally without alarm clock, delicious breakfast, completing a challenging handicraft task which is different from routine job, arrange your things/cleaning your room while listening to soft music, you feel that you OWN your own time, you are loving yourself and spending time with him, your mind flashing the past events in the week, a simple day but it's so great to make one feel RECHARGED.

(Try to avoid online the whoe day as it may cause a bad posture over a long time and its a past-time event and u may not feel you had done anything...)

I am building a table and i have the feeling of building LEGO.
I got my first LEGO from Ms Er Lay Si,
my standard 2 form teacher.
She gives me as a present when i am 8 years old.
Thats when i started playing LEGO and love it.
Today i received a table in boards and nails.
I felt the excitment of assembling the table,
just like when i am playing LEGO.

The instruction is very clear, just follow it and everything is done. However there is place where you need some skills to make sure the table is stable.
I am focused but not stressed, simply excited, hoping that you can build it longer, just like the anticipation of playing LEGO.

Today people try to release stress days by
going Karaoke, clubbing, shopping spree,
in the end, do you feel recharged or more TIRED?

Its simple without costing you a single cent.
Just make sure you spend sometime with him(yourself),
treat him good, love him,
let him feel respected and appreciated.
You will find the next morning waking up feeling energetic!

有位好朋友说， “汉杰，你真厉害。”
听了赞美的话心理应该是开心的。不管它是否真心。
我老套的回答：“过奖了，还好罢了。。”

下个月要去朋友毕业典礼，自己毕业就三年了。
我离“厉害“ 好远，不敢当。
我依然那副德性。我行我素。

觉得很想把泰国的美与人分享，就全家一起去；
觉得神山山景如画，就去登山；
觉得想体验恋情，就去爱爱；
觉得想鸡婆朋友的婚礼筹备，就去当兄弟，主持人；
觉得自己想学些经济管理理论，就去进修。
觉得感恩，知足。

父母觉得我自己应管理好自己人生。
朋友觉得我什么都敢去做。
我自己觉得，是时候定性了。

最近参与一班年轻一辈的朋友，
自己毕竟老了，思想有了隔膜。
但对于学习新知识，我十分有冲劲。
生活有规律了,虽然吸收力不如以前，
但好奇心和兴趣的驱使下，我感受前所未有，享受知识的沐浴。
周围的朋友，唉声叹气，叫苦连天。
或许他们未经历更大的无奈，毕竟年纪轻轻。
我很尊敬他们，因他们有魄力，有理想。
不想用我的思维影响他们，只在适当时候分享同感。
静静的注意他们，我也会拿当年的自己来做比较。

学习不仅在于课本。
看到附近果汁挡，用苦瓜配芒果，
以芒果浓郁的香味和甜味，盖过苦瓜的苦涩，
回来也有样学样，
做成了，有层次感，很享受学习的喜悦。

我很期待明天，每一天。
人生本应如此，未来充满未知，至少目前我是如此。

结婚~

我的死党结婚了，是小学，中学的同班同学。。。因为我们从来都在第一班:D

中学朋友共有十一人出席。一场老朋友的聚会，互相联络，聊聊最新近况，
但无法找回昔日那种感觉，时间太短，只是蜻蜓点水。。。
令我思考的是，大家未婚，其中有四人有女朋友，也有完全没有交女朋友的经验。
问题出在那里？全男校？

第一次成为喜筵主持人。虽然有过许多公众演说的经验，开始难免还会紧张。完全照背稿。中场开始享受，大家的投入，配合，朋友的赞赏。结束前的Q&A 部分，新人不敢完全配合，留下了少许的瑕疵，或许是缺陷美吧！由于新人的害羞，我顿时紧张起来，无法幽默的主持下去，记得有一段，我还因为没了主意而把麦克风推给新郎，虽然只是一瞬间，或许来宾没注意，但我自己已经开始压力和不自在了。。。

总结。我缺乏一定的应变能力，以为准备太长，其实不太够。
主持人应多多准备绕口令般的贺词。。。

台上三分钟，台下十分钟。准备过程历时整整3天。

有人叫我去兼职做喜筵主持人，我傻笑带过。
主持喜筵，只给特别的朋友。

完成了半个月来的工程，因该是兴高采烈的去庆祝；
此时的心情却是低落的，因为过程中牺牲了许多生命....

这半个月来，与大自然有了近距离的接触。一片荒芭地，到砍树，喷毒药，最后烧芭。过程中曾经历全身红肿，发烧，蚊虫/红蚂蚁叮咬司空见惯。

今天，终于经历3 天不下雨，烈日当空，开始烧芭。
完成了，心里纳闷，低落。

因为
( 一）星星之火，可以燎原。亲身处在着火的树林时，可听见凄凉，高分贝的尖锐声。来自各种动物的最后尖叫声。。。登时双手合十，口中不断念诵，希望这些生命能到阿弥陀佛世界，摆脱轮回。

（二)受过高等教育的我，当工人说要用轮胎烧芭时，第一反应是：“不行，太污染了！" 他们顿时专心的听我的“高见”，看我这位“专业人士”有何高见。
我没主意，知道若要埋／等这些枯树枯萎最少需两三年，只好点头认同最原始的方法。。。

Mount KInabalu quest 2009

I must complete my summary on Mt Kinabalu trip before the pain at my hips and knee were gone.. I will tell my story with lots and lots of photo, so be patient if your line is slow :D

The begining

I was a frequent traveller between Kota Kinabalu and Sandakan in year 2007 and 2008. Travelling in the bus which zigzaged the mountainous road between east and west Sabah often left me feeling nauseating and exhausted. HOwever, i was rewarded with the breathtaking view of Mt KK getting closer and closer, standing majestically outside the bus window. I often anticipated the brief stop at pekan Nabalu where i can "smell" Mt KK in such a near distance...

In May 2008, we rented a car to Kinabalu park-Timpohon Gate, i am utterly shocked by this piece of beauty in front me. I promised i will return to Conquer the mountain very soon!

First day at high altitude

The target was realised when Bao Shu invited me to join the group. Many from the group shared the same tertiary background of former UTM students. I joined the group without knowing anyone but soon enough i found that i was among those chatting and joking on the way to Kundasang.

We planned to climb Mt kk on 25th April09. All the 33 avid climbers arrive at Kundasang on 24th April. We visited Kundasang War Memorial and Desa dairy farm. It's a light ice breaking session for all of us before we started our climb the next day. We truly enjoyed the cool environment at 2000 feet above sea level.

The Climb

We wake up at 6:30am, packed the belongings to bring up Mt KK, settled in for simple breakfast in front of Kinabalu Park and set off to Mesilau trail. Mt. Kinabalu is Malaysia first world heritage. Kinabalu park is established in 1964.This botanical paradise is blessed with astonishing variety of flora and fauna ranges over 4 climates zones! From the lowland forest to mountain oak, coniferous forests to alpine meadow plants finally stunted bushes at summit zone. A feeling of going through 4 seasons in a day!

Two Trails lead to the top, the Summit Trail(timpohon gate) and Mesilau RouteThe Mesilau Route to the Summit starts from Mesilau Resort and leads to Layang-Layang (Carson's Camp)Mesilau route initially used by scientists and researchers as it takes longer(5-6 hoursto reach Layang-Layang, as compared to 2-3 hours from the Timpohon Gate)Total distance to Layang-Layang is 5.7km by Mesilau trail which is extra 2 km compared to the summit trail from timpohon gate!

We arrived at the Mesilau Gate at 8:30am.To lighthen our burden to the summit, tourist will normally hire local portal or guide cum portal to carry up their laguage.

The rate is about RM9 per KG.

11KG excluding MEAL and water weighing 2KG!!!

Before the climb, i told myself i must accomplish the climb including carrying the whole backpack up myself bearing the risk of exhaustion/dehydration.A few friends also advised me to hire the portal since the Mesilau trailis the tougher trail and this is our first time up My kk.Besides we may need energy for via Ferata the next day!

I had been training for past weeks exceeding the normal jogging routine to make sure the few KG won't brought me down!
Finally, i decided to Do It Myself

I can sense the excitement of not knowing whether i will survive with the 13kg behind my back?It's cool..

"I SET MY TARGET" I will conquer LOW's PEAK"

The journey begun right after a briefing given by our tour guides. Initially the group of 3 members were divided into 3 groups, but we just moved up in a whole group. Gradually the slower will lag behind and the faster one will continue on their own... KM0.5, Posing

The begining of the first 500 metres were never ending steps which i can feel the strain to my legs and blood was not given enought time to reach my brainAfter the first km, the distance between the fast pacer is out of view by the following members.After 1km, I found my pace with a group of 3. consisting of ai tee, hsiao ling, Ting Hui.

The plants and wildlife here is exotic and you get a chance to view mt kk from various angle!My feeling at that moment: tired, yet enjoy! WHY?

First, There is a big wow almost every KM. My camera is always in my hand...2nd, moving in with friends motivated you to go non stop!3rd, CLimbers knew that the sticky, drenching sweaty feel is not a nice one, but here the cool breeze and dry wind absorbed the sweaty feel!

1:21pm : Wer having our lunch pack. We was at the pondok KM4.5the meal was really delicious as i was so hungry that i can ate a cow at that time After the meal, tragedy strikes! I was taking photo around the nice scenery. So i told the members to go ahead first as i could easily chased them from behind.I could still remeber at KM5, the breathtaking picturesque scenery came in and my camera clicked non stop!I was alone at that moment.Suddenly my left leg felt tight, i knew it was coming. Next minute, i was down, i felt the intense pain caused my left leg cramp.I still continued to walk as i didn't want to be left out alone too far. After around 10 steps, my right leg was having cramp.I was totally devastated and had to stay down.I Shouted in vain for around 3mins.i knew only the tigers could hear my scream now. So i began dragging myself like a handicapped person.

"Focus on the road ahead, and u will forget that cramp" I continued moving..

I was very sure that i had stamina and strenght to walk,it was my legs muscle forbade me to go on! IN a few metres of drag, i was back to normal walking again.

I am writing this experience as i truly felt helpless and alone and scared and abandoned.I am panicked. Actually it is not so serious but at that moment when all negative thought came in! The experience which last for 20 minutes gave me a feel of panic that i seldom encountered. I knew this feeling is what i must learn to overcome if i ever faced it in future.
After Layang-layang intersection, i began to sprint. I had signed up for the via ferata and we must reached before 4pm for the via_ferata training.Meantime, the environment changes dramatically. It is like you walked into another world. Trees and plant become stunted, leaves becoming smaller and scarce,Getting cold, really cold , I must wore my sweater.

4:30pm : I reached Laban Rata

Rith is the first member in our group to reach LABAN RATA.

He was 2 hours ahead of me!

It was only a pitiful 10C even the sun is shinning brightly in the afternoon

5pm : Dinner served

6pm: I stayed at gunting lagadan chalet. Bathed, drank hot beverages, chatting. We anticipated for the summit the next morning.Meanwhile, our breath got heavier as the oxygen level is lesser and pressure is low.

8pm. slept.

2am woke up breakpast/supper

3am scaling the peak Brother, Fully equipped for the final climb!

I promised my team member Miss J to helped her to the peak. We had frequent stop to rest. This is due to low pressure.We were late due to frequent stop and I began to feel high altitude disease at the same time.I knew i had to entrusted her to an experience mountain guide to carry her things at the same time. I felt so bad leaving her to some "stranger" but that was the point that i had to be rational. In such situation, either i attempt to scale the peak alone or we both turned back in the next hour!

Saying tenth of sorry in my hard, i ran up without turning back my head afraid that i might be reluctant to stick to my initial decision ! After leaving her, i sprinted up really fast. That was the worse decision which nearly KILLED me! This is because the air is very cold,thin and i used my mouth to breath in HUGE volume of cold air while running.

Suddenly Tragedy striked. I was vommiting and coughing non-stop with my face turned pale. A kind-hearted guide passed by asked me to turn back before i was too far. I rested for 3 mins, praying very hard.I had came for a long way here, i was almost there and there is no way for me to give up here. I knew the risk of ended up being "carried" down MT KK. But i trusted my training for past 3 months is sufficient for me to get to the peak. Next thing, pray sincerely, concentrating on praying..

MY breath get smoother soon enough after praying hard. After this, everything got smooth on my way to the peak

The Scaling of the peak.

This is a true climb of Mount KK from LABAN RATA. There are ropes and rails to help you over steep slopes and terrfying edges. I started to feel the trill, the "kick" of hanging on ropes watching the dots of light from LABAN RATA hundred metres below(not for the faint-hearted). COOL!
After Sayat-sayat hut(3668m),the highest shelter for park use only,i walked on bare granite slabs that stretched endlessly. I am walking on my determination to conquer the peak. I walked at a rhythmic pace, 20 steps + 30second rest, focusing on nothing except the trail ahead. the guide said "if you look up the number of stairs that you are going to go up, you will never make it" It sound like a SINGLE thought of "I gave up" will break your determination down entirely.

Here where i catched up with other members who rested in exhaustion. They could hardly smile when i greeted hello+Lets go now!

5:55am, the first ray of sunshine came in and i stop for a picture. I was near to low's peak.Again, my final dash.

6:15am: I was standing proudly at LOW's Peak at 6:15am. Highest peak in South east Asia!I had make it!

Thankful for the guardian of MT Kinabalu Datuk Lagadan for protecting me all the way and a safe journey to the summit!

Yesterday i was scolded by Mr L (owner of a photocopy shop in skudai). This was the first time in my life i was scolded like that and i still had to bear with it!

The following is the scenario :

" Today i really want to "diao" you. F*CK you! "
" Today i won't be paying for the papers , so what can you do to me? "
" HIT me? "
"Sue me in court? GO !"
"Now WHO IS WRONG? WHO ? "

After 1min, he cooled down,

" Young man, you should transfer the information faster, i am angry because of the late info"
"If you act like that , how can the trust between us be builded up?
"I am paying you RM100 each time you come to ask for payment, you needed to come 24times
before you collected the full payment! "

Finally,
"Come, we go and get the cheque ! " ^_^

Actually there is a shortage of paper recently and yesterday they ordered for 3 sets but i just sent 1 set today. I thought by sending at least ONE set they will be thankful after they know the reason. But it turned out to be the other way round !

I was blamed for not letting them know the shortage of paper yesterday when they are ordering... As they require the products to come in time in order to run the business.

But Mr L is kind enough to lead me to somewhere quiet before he started to fire me..
And he planned the whole DRAMA with the precise timing :

Fierce, soften, give way and both parties laughing in the end..

I got my lesson, and he achieve his goal. Really geng!

2008 年，有成就感，也有些遗憾。。。

健康，我一直有一种理所当然的感觉，在08年结束前给我了一次健康红灯，（视网膜脱落），虽然专科医生说与健康无关，纯粹是运气，但我有自知之明，经历了这种与失明擦肩而后的感觉，体会到了没有健康，一切梦想理想是空谈了！

事业，
山穷水尽疑无路，柳暗花明又一村来形容吧。
每次遇到挫折，心想放弃时总有贵人相助鼓励。
换个角度想，或许是自己阿Q自己一番（过于乐观）吧，所以周围的人和事都变成自己的贵人了。。呵呵！

人遇到问题，为自己找合理的借口开溜，又或推给替死鬼。
There is no bad player, there is just BAD MANAGER
这句话让我对工作上的问题从新思考，从而有了另一番诠释

碍于面子，不肯认错，可接受。
但面对自己都死不认错，很可悲。

感情，
黑暗中摸索，迷失方向，随性或许胜过勉强。

亲情，
最满足的项目，珍惜。

my SURGERY,---- O M G---

On 2nd of December, i feel there is a cloudy part in the corner of my right eye, blocking my normal vision and give me a blur view. I became BLUR -BLUR
i though it 's just insufficient sleep, I came back rest for 3 days, but the cloudy part was still there,
I couldn't bother about that and started working until 12th December,Friday, coming back from JB, the blur vision had spreaded to almost half of my right vision,

GOSH the vision of my right eye is now HALF-GONE !!!

I am so worried, rushed to my family Opthamolgist, DR Victor Pang in Pantai Melaka, as my symptom is quite similar to acute glaucoma, i was so worried as vision loss in the case of glaucoma is irriversible (cannot be saved),

"HABIS la, i gonna blind" i thought

I drove to Pantai Medical Centre with just the half vision loss in my right eye sensing that something is not right. Waited for 6 hours until i were finally diagnosed,
The first sentence Dr Pang said were : "young man, where had you been all the while, why these things happened"

He also thought it is Glaucoma, after further diagnosis, i was confirmed to be having RETINA DETACHMENT !

Dr Pang said :" i will be sad if it was galucoma as you are my patient for years"
immediately, Dr Pang called Dr LIm Kian Seng, Specialist in ISEC midvalley, making an appoinment early the next morning.

He turned to me and said: "from now, you need to rest until tomorrow morning, every moment counts in saving your vision"

The last sentence before i left Dr Pang room is

"Dr, can i have the operation on Tuesday after my Product Training in Alor Star and Penang on this saturday and sundy? "

He murmured without looking up :" Go to see DR LIM tomorrow 8.30am now go back and rest!"
I reached ISEC MidValley precisely at 8am, after a routine check in and diagnosis by DR Lim Kian Seng, i was arranged for the operation at 10am. I was given a simple briefing on the operation

I changed into operation robe... TO BE continued

and walked into the operation teather under the worried looks by my parents.

"I will give you partial anesthetic " doc said

What the hell, that means i will be awaken throughout the whole operation!

A medicated cotton was rubbed around my eyes before a 7cm long needle poked into my eyes.

i was asked to look up and can see the needles poking directly in....

" pain, huge pressure immersed in my eyes, liquid flowing out of my eyes " i was thinking...

Just 1 word to describe me : BRAVE !

then, i started to feeling numbness and only hear scissors cutting my eyes !

NEVER TRY IT AT HOME ! the sound makes me feel eerie...

However i can still control my eyeball movement!

After 15 unforgettale minutes, i walked out from operation room feeling a bit giddy , with my eyes covered at a side

The whole operation cost me a big bomb in my pocket, RM6.5k.... sigh

自从上了大学，朋友说我改变许多。自己也觉得我好想开窍不少，开始勇敢寻找自己的梦想，自己的理想也在不知不觉中萌芽成长。

毕业后，一直跃跃一试一身好功夫，心想终于能学以致用了。谁知总是打出了一拳，半拳却落空了，外界的变数是自己无法预料到的。心里十分纳闷。纳闷自己为何无法有所作为，终日闷闷不乐，希望通过看看外面的世界增加一些灵感。。。

古代的丞相们除了有过人的才学和智慧，也需要机遇和贵人。他们不少早年也愁有一身好武艺而无处施展，就在一阵苦恼后，凡是不放弃者，机会总会来临，终有出头日！
老天也算对我不薄了，给我人生许多贵人，让我成长了不少，又给我许多发挥的空间。
眼前又有一个非常挑战的生意，我决定全力以赴的把它做到最好，因为有竞争者。所以我才会进步。这次我不再盲目的冲，而更有脚踏实地一步一步耐心按计划去走。

In the world of sales and marketing, we will face alot of new client/prospect everyday.
Marketing people are often full of attraction because of proactive attitude and their enthusiasiasm.

How long we have to chat to warm-up the whole conversation?
How can we "close case" (create successful deals?)
Can we impressed them for the next appointment?

There is a few opinions that i would like to share after the Port Dickson trip:

First of all, Striking a simple conversation by simply smile, saying "hi", greets etc.
WORSE result : the prospect just simply act like he/she didn't noticed you. (often those who are low in self esteem also do this)
PD trip : Mr K invited us for a volleyball game yesterday, what were our response?
I met their group near swimming pool at night.A big smile and greeting "hi" bring us
to exchange our hp number for the volleyball match the next morning.

2nd , warming up the conversation using the concept of F.O.I ( family occupation interest). Often this is when you get a clear picture of his mindset and background for
WORSE scenario : classic One-Way-Traffic with the answer of YES/NO. Conversation stops here.
PD trip : After we finished the game, I asked K about his Occupation (as it's the only thing i am interested in)

3rd, Find out the common interest. This is the climax of the conversation, we have to tagged to the topic that our prospect is interested/ highly motivated to tells you. Make it a memorable one by sharing the common interest.
WORSE scenario : the conversation is flat however it's a first step in knowing your prospect.
PD trip : Our common interest is playing volleyball game. Make it a memorable one and we really have a the other match next morning!

It sounds simple, as simple as A B C, but some people just refused to make it.
PD trip , when Mr K came over to invite us into a volleyball match, i noticed many couldn't engage in the conversation probably because:
i) typical shy-shy type
ii) NOT proficient in English / Cantonese (language problem)
iii) NOT skillful in volleyball

A single hand cannot claps! thats why we must either take it or leave it and not procrastinate (dunno what2 do)

NO PROBLEM!

This is my first experience in volleyball game. I don't even know the basic hand position/style to hit the ball!
I just try my best to play, learn , laugh, shout, give-me-5 etc..

ENTHUSIASM!

Our brothers have all the skills but they are just a-bit passive in SOCIALIZING...
If they choose to unleash their ultimate potential, the result is BEYOND imagination!

IF

You have a beautiful smile, USE IT !

You have talented in sports, USE IT !

You are highly proficient in English , USE IT !

Finally i really really enjoyed playing beach volleyball! YES Sang Kancil !

欺骗？幼稚？感言篇

认识好多人，一些人可让你从偶像般敬佩，到大哥般尊敬，后来却敌人般痛恨，最后变成老朋友般的交情。短短几年，自己的感受居然可有如此大的转变，自我反省自己是否太单纯和幼稚了？

不！这是一种成长，对人的第一感觉变得更敏锐了。

我一直在看错人。

有位甲，人为虽严格，却很关心我。他把许多人的秘密告诉我，同时我也因此对他绝对信任。他叫我提防乙，说这人花心，爱一脚踏两船，人品太过现实。
由于先入为主，我也有了同感，开始了提防心。
对于乙，我大部分的概念都是甲塑造出的。

后来我时常接触乙，发现不然。偶然发现他从未去PUB，更无感情经验，从他的周围也可求证这点。
其实乙对甲人格和作风非常不赞成，同时对此人也非常不满。
更巧的是，认识甲的朋友也叫我一定要提防这个人，而且又不敢讲多。

又看错人，看错谁？甲还是乙？自己有了答案还问？

There are a few routes from Siam Reap to Poipet (border of Cambodia and Thailand).

Since it is the monsoon season now, we choose to go to Battambang through Tonle Sap, and take Pickup truck to Poipet.

The trip to Tonle Sap takes 6 hours, the day is sunny. The lake smell sour. Lying on top of the boat is a great relaxation in a secluded area in the world.

The Tonlé Sap (meaning Large Fresh Water River is a combined lake and river system. It is the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia and is an ecological hotspot

For most of the year the lake is fairly small, around one meter deep and with an area of 2,700 square km. During the monsoon season, however, the Tonle Sap river which connects the lake with the Mekong river reverses its flow. Water is pushed up from the Mekong into the lake, increasing its area to 16,000 square km and its depth to up to nine meters, flooding nearby fields and forests. The floodplain provides a perfect breeding ground for fish.

Along the ways there are many trees blocking the water path. Some are clear path but the driver have to takes the blocked path according to his compass. Although the whole journey may be tough, but eventually we will reach the destination.

In real life. A goal in life is like the compass. Some path may looked glamarous, and some path looked full of difficulty, but the goal will guide you to achieve your target.

The kids here are playing in the yellowish water here, they grin with neat white rows of teeth welcoming us. Some even send kisses to us!! This is a great contrast compare to our Malaysian kids who are having many tuition classes and endless school work to be completed. Behind the naive smile, they need to pay a big price for that. What about their future undertaking without education? The nostalgia of the poor community..

The whole journey on the dusty road caused our clothes to be covered in yellow sand. We are responsible to our safety depending on our grip on the side of the truck. Hazardous.

When we reached Poipet, the local even cheated us that the border had closed at 6pm. But we continued our journey knowing that the risk of getting rob is higher if we stay in Poipet a second longer.Crossing border from POIPET to Aranyapratet

Angkor Thom (12th-13th century AD)

Angkor Thom moated royal city and was the last capital of the Angkorian empire. After Jayavarman VII recaptured the Angkorian capital from the Cham invaders in 1181, he began a massive building campaign across the empire, constructing Angkor Thom as his new capital city. He began with existing structures such as Baphuon and Phimeanakas and built a grand enclosed city around them, adding the outer wall/moat and some of Angkor's greatest temples including his state-temple, Bayon, set at the center of the city. There are five entrances (gates) to the city, one for each cardinal point, and the victory gate leading to the Royal Palace area. Each gate is crowned with 4 giant faces.

Angkor Archeological Park tour 11-9-07

We set off at 6am local time for the sunrise in Angkor Wat. Heard that it's marvellous.
It's pitch dark. But we saw many tourist were heading towards Angkor Park. Some was on the foot jogging for the 15 KM. Not easy, i can say

The sunrise is awesome. However the building attracted us more. We keep taking pictures of different posture.

Angkor Wat (Early-Mid 12th century AD)
Angkor Wat is visually, architecturally and artistically breathtaking. It is a massive three-tiered pyramid crowned by five lotus-like towers rising 65 meters from ground level. This is the Landmark of the whole Angkorian Park. Thumb UP!!

Prasat Kravan (Early 10th century AD)
East-facing brick towers containing unique bas-reliefs of Vishnu and Lakshmi rendered in brick - the only example of brick bas-reliefs in the Angkor area.

Bantey Kdei (Late 12th - Early 13th century AD)
Sprawling, largely unrestored, monastic complex in much the same style as Ta Prohm. It was originally constructed over the site of an earlier temple, and functioned as a Buddhist monastery under Jayavarman VII.The 13th century vandalism of Buddha images that is seen on many Jayavarman VII temples is quite apparent on Banteay Kdei

Ta Prohm (Mid 12th - Early 13th century AD )
Jayavarman VII temples , this quiet, sprawling monastic complex is only partially cleared of jungle overgrowth. Intentionally left partially unrestored, massive fig and silk-cotton trees grow from the towers and corridors offering some of the best ‘tree-in-temple’ photo opportunities at Angkor. Ta Prohm was dedicated to his mother. Ta Prohm was originally constructed as a Buddhist monastery and was enormously wealthy in its time, boasting of control over 3000 villages, thousands of support staff and vast stores of jewels and gold.

Boo keep saying that he is very tired, and we are not in mood to take more pictures in this fantastic temple.

Srah Srang (Mid 10th and Late 12th century AD )

Picturesque baray opposite the east entrance of Banteay Kdei. Remodeled in the 12th century as part of Jayavarman VII's massive building campaign. A multi-tiered landing platform on the west edge of the baray is adorned with naga balustrades and guardian lions. The very sparse remains of an island temple can be seen poking out of the middle of the lake during the dry season when the water is low. Srah Srang offers a pleasant, much less touristed sunrise alternative to Angkor Wat.

Ta Keo (Late 10th - Early 11th century AD)

Towering but plainly decorated temple-mountain dedicated to Shiva. Known in its time as ‘the mountain with golden peaks.’ The first to be constructed wholly of sandstone, this temple employing huge sandstone blocks. Constructed under three kings, begun by Jayavarman V as his state-temple and continued under Jayaviravarman and Suryavarman I. When Jayavarman V first constructed Ta Keo, he part ways with previous kings, constructing his state temple outside of his main capital area. Construction on Ta Keo seems to have stopped particularly early in the decoration phase as evidenced by the lack of carvings.

Chau Say Thevoda

Chau Say Tevoda is now undergoing an extensive restoration project, for the moment allowing the visitor a close up look at the restoration process.

Phnom Bakheng (Late 9th - Early 10th century AD)

The construction of this temple mountain on Phnom Bakheng (Bakheng Hill), the first major temple to be constructed in the Angkor area, marked the move of the capital of the Khmer empire from Roluos to Angkor in the late 9th century AD. It served as King Yasovarman I's state-temple at the center of his new capital city Yasodharapura. The foundation of Bakheng is carved from the existing rock edifice rather than the laterite and earthfill of most other temples. Bakheng's hilltop location makes it the most popular sunset location in the area, offering a view of the Tonle Sap Lake and a distant Angkor Wat in the jungle. (A good photo of Angkor Wat in the distance requires at least a 400mm lens.) The temple is usually overcrowded at sunset, sometimes even completely overrun by tourists. Due to overuse and damage, the main stairway up the mountain has been closed and an alternate path to the top has been opened.

Here we joined the manthly local Buddhist ritual. The bath is said to be bringing great fortune and prosperity. The locals guy are very friendly to both of us.

Phnom Penh -> Siam Reap 10-9-07

We took the bus from Phnom Penh to Siam Reap. The printed price is 17000 Riels, but we got it from the guesthouse for the price of $5 ( 20000Riels). Slightly more for the transport from the GH to bus station and commision.

The whole scene along the 5 hours journey is a pleasant experience. However don't expect the nice straight highway bus experience as you found in Penisula Malaysia. To me, the scene is almost the same as in Malaysia, mostly paddy fields, small houses. I believe this is one of "exotic" tropical country scene to the caucasions.

Upon arrival in Siam Reap, the next scenario here is shocking. Before disembarking from the bus, our bus were encircled by a huge crowd of locals when it drove into the parking space. Wow, it was the most shocking experience for me in the whole trip.

The young lenglui here is so terrified of all the tuk-tuk drivers who are too aggresive in fetching business

They were just the tuk-tuk drivers who was trying to offer u a drive to your desired GH or be your guide, recommend you any GH or anything if you are willing to pay. What makes it so difference is they are so PROACTIVE in the way that they cornered you and don't let you go anyway until you make up your decision where you going. Definitely not for the faint-hearted!!

Boo step out decisively and we followed a tuk-tuk driver who can speak Bahasa Malayu. And here is the first time we paid using Ringgit Malaysia in Cambodia as the drivers request!!! Boo seem to like him very much so we paid him another RM1 after he drove us to JASMINE LODGE.
After checking in, we started walking nearby to get bicycle. Following our previous experience, we knew a quality bicycle is so essential as we depends on it ultimately. We finally chose a nice Mountain Bike for $8. Until now i still miss that bike, really a terrific bike with great suspension, nice seats easy to menuever/control. The following is my bicycle. The best bike in our whole trip

We decide to cycle to Angkor Wat for sunset as we don't want to waste the half day left. The ticket to Angkor Park is $40 for 3 days pass and $20 for 1 day pass. I vote for 3 day pass because of the photo embeded on the Angkor Pass. Here is our biggest regret as our time in Siam Reap is limited to 2 days the most.

Unexpected rain hit us when we first saw the outside river of the Angkor Wat. At the first sight we don't know the building standing infront of us is Angkor Wat. This is due that the normal sight we view is from the west door. We have to terminate our journey and bargaining for dinner while waiting for the rain to stop.

However the rain seem to be forever, and Boo is 100% excited at the idea of cycling in the rain. Tell you the truth, i hate that idea, just imagine being drenched inside out and the freezing condition in the rain really terrified me! I am scare especially i know that my specs will be watery and i can hardly see the road. But, i was left with no choice now.

We packed our electronic devices and wallet in multiple layers of plastic bags and set off. I was in front and i look back occasionally to confirm boo is behind. The distance from Angkor Wat to Jasmine Lodge is approximately 15KM(45mins in rain).

Suddenly i couldn't found boo behind me anymore. i was startled. i slowed down but i just can't see him catching up. It was already 8pm, dark night engulfed me and i can only see i was the only cyclist along the whole way. A very scary and eerie experience especially after you found out you lose your companion whose wallet is with you. Morover Boo don't know the way back to the GH as he is always the follower!!! "Boo, you are on your own now!" i sighed.

When i reach the GH, i am sure he wasn't back yet. I was really really worried. We don't have ways to communicate,nor does he have any money/ identification with him. "I will go for the police if i cannot find him"i thought so. I set off again in the rain in attempt to find him with no avail. I really don't know which way to start off as there are so many ways to our GH. After a cycling around in random direction, i gave up.

I went back to the GH, after 10 minutes, he came back.

"Walau , Why you cycled soooo fast???"he yelled.

I am relieved with tears and forget to argue back . That is my first reaction. Totally relieved...

After that we argued but what drives me mad is when he said he purposely cycled slowly because he enjoyed cyling in the rain so much and it's his best experience in his life. When i saw the big grin on his face, i was so "boiled" up/furious until i cannot speak a word and i leave the room immediately. It is as if the whole worrying and searching process is STUPID!!!

Conclusion,
for an enjoyable trip, it's utmost important that each and every travelmates be responsible for his own action. Remember, you are NOT lone ranger, you are travelling with somebody and both must always report to each other especially in a place where no comuunication device is available.

Phnom Penh Attraction

We tried too wake up for the sunrise but it's too late. We rented 2 bicycles from Sunday GH. 6am is like 7.30am in Malaysia... We started our journey by asking using this map and asking around.

Our destination planned today will be based on the backpacker's guide given by Lonely Planet Cambodia. A nice and detail reference.

CYCLING in Cambodia is an exhilarating experience to be forgotten. The drivers there are kind of "skillful" as they will do U-Turn anywhere, drive into other's lane, disobey the traffic light, and horning is like saying "hi". We noticed some broken pieces of glass on the road because they drive recklessly. Don't complain if someone "kiss" your bike from behind, just beware of your legs when cycling as we have lots of similar experience expecially in the Central Market (Psah Thmei) area. The dusty road makes the visibility worse and you will end up feeling your throat dry-crack in the end of the day of cycling.

Wat Phnom Temple on the summit of Wat Phnom

A small hill crowned by an active wat (pagoda) marks the legendary founding place of the Phnom Penh. Elephant rides available. The legend of the founding of Wat Phnom is tied to the beginnings of Phnom Penh. Legend has it that in 1372 Lady Penh (Yea Penh) fished a floating Koki tree out of the river. Inside the tree were four Buddha statues. She built a hill (‘phnom’ means ‘hill’) and a small temple (wat) at what is now the site of what is now known as Wat Phnom. Later, the surrounding area became known after the hill (Phnom) and its creator (Penh), hence ‘Phnom Penh.’ The current temple was last rebuilt in 1926. The large stupa contains the remains of King Ponhea Yat (1405-1467) who moved the Khmer capital from Angkor to Phnom Penh in 1422. Look for the altar of Lady Penh between the large stupa and the vihear. She is said to be of particular help to women. Wat Phnom is the busiest pagoda in town the night of Chinese/Vietnamese New Year’s Eve.

We are not even allowed to take any photo even from far away. The guard came and chased us away!!

Post Office

Funny enough, there is no English Signboard showing that this is the main Post Office in Cambodia, only in Khmer wordings. We find it by guessing.. We posted a few post cards to our loved ones in Malaysia. The stamp for a postcard is 1800Riel.

Luckily the staff here can speak simple English. Will take 2 weeks for Asean countries. "Just nice when we return they will receive it!"

P.S : Our motive of sending not trying to "show off". We debate for it. Imagine one day you came from work and found a lovely postcard in our mail box, you will smell the scent of Phnom Penh and feel relax. Very sincere!

Central Market (Psah Thmei)

This unique, art-deco building is a Phnom Penh landmark. Prior to 1935 the area was a swamp/lake that received the runoff during the rainy season. The lake was drained and the market constructed in 1935-37. Wet season flooding in the area around the market of the market is a vestige of the old lake. The entrance to the market is lined with souvenir merchants hawking everything from T-shirts and postcards to silver curios and kramas. Inside is a dazzling display of jewels and gold. Electronic goods, stationery, secondhand clothes and flowers are also in ample supply.

(Phsar Thmei means ‘New Market’, but ‘Central Market’ has caught on in English.)

This is where Boo and I got lost, and i lose my temper. Sorry Boo.

This area is Phnom Penh busiest part. The traffic outside here is very heavy. Our bicycles were "kissed" many times. Boo scared :)

The inside of the Dome-shaped building is well constructed with the natural aircon compared to the 35C outside. Simple but stunning.

Do you dare to eat this??? Small frogs 1500Riels. Boo found it disgusting. Taste??? normal...

National Museum/ Royal Palace

The distinctive rust-red National Museum next to the Royal Palace was dedicated by King Sisowath in 1920. Over 5000 objects are on display including Angkorian era statues, lingas and other artifacts, most notably the legendary statue of the ‘Leper King

The Royal Palace in Phnom Penh was constructed over a century ago to serve as the residence of the King of Cambodia, his family and foreign dignitaries, as a venue for the performance of court ceremony and ritual and as a symbol of the Kingdom. It serves to this day as the Cambodian home of King Norodom Sihamoni and former King Norodom Sihanouk

We go for one of the recommended Khmer cuisine restaurant recommended by Loney Planet.

The Banana dish (forget the name) is one not to be missed. Still have fire on it when it's served.

The price is still reasonable with the nice surrounding.

As our travel philosophy sounded, see, taste, feel and involved in the real Cambodian's culture. We are not the normal tourist who will only visit the gorgeos pre-arranged tourist destination, which all the staff there are well-dressed in clean uniform and speaks fluent English, which the buildings are fully aircond, where you feel like being served like the king and tour guide and tuk-tuk touting their 1 day service to bring you around the city.

"If you just want to take the photo of the Royal palace, monuments, artifacts inside, you can easily find a professional one in postcard or internet." Boo commented.

What we want is visit the real life of Cambodians with 5 million people live on less than AUD $1.60 a day,and the khmer language based community. Believe me, you will feel frustrated trying to express yourself in English, but you will see how a friendly is these Cambodians trying to help you. No Pain, No Gain!!!

Phnom Penh - Day2

Waking up 6am for sunrise. However, the time here is GMT +7, which is later by an hour than Malaysia. 6am is too late for sunrise already...

While everybody still sleeping, we started cycling in the capital of Cambodia. We keep asking the people for direction although we have the map, the map is rather useless as phnom penh have many streets not included in our "photocopied" map.

We reached Royal Hotel, Price per night for standard room is US$200 which is the total money that i brought to cambodia. 5 class hotel. With many artistic features. Nice one..

Later the US embassy, damn it they don't let me take any photo even i was taking from far away.. really far, and back door. afraid they will confisticate my camera if i take any picture so i didn't take the risk

The site is a former high school which was used as the notorious Security Prison 21 (S-21) concentration camp by the Khmer Rouge regime from its rise to power in 1975 to its fall in 1979. Tuol Sleng in Khmer means "Hill of the Poisonous Trees".

Between 1-2 million Cambodians (and many thousands of foreigners) were starved to death, tortured, or killed, during his brutal reign of terror.

When prisoners were first brought to Tuol Sleng, they were made aware of ten rules that they were to follow during their incarceration. What follows is what is posted today at the Tuol Sleng Museum; the imperfect grammar is a result of faulty translation from the original Khmer:

1. You must answer accordingly to my question. Don’t turn them away.
2. Don’t try to hide the facts by making pretexts this and that, you are strictly prohibited to contest me.
3. Don’t be a fool for you are a chap who dare to thwart the revolution.
4. You must immediately answer my questions without wasting time to reflect.
5. Don’t tell me either about your immoralities or the essence of the revolution.
6. While getting lashes or electrification you must not cry at all.
7. Do nothing, sit still and wait for my orders. If there is no order, keep quiet.
When I ask you to do something, you must do it right away without protesting.
8. Don’t make pretext about Kampuchea Krom in order to hide your secret or traitor.
9. If you don’t follow all the above rules, you shall get many many lashes of electric wire.
10. If you disobey any point of my regulations you shall get either ten lashes or five shocks of electric discharge.

The well-preserved individual cells, still have the smell of rustic woods. There is a statue of prisoner in one of the cells. Scary !!!

After visiting this museum, we should be going to the Killing Fields of Cheung Ek which is situated 15 kilometers south-west of Phnom Penh.it was a place where more than 17,000 civilians were killed and buried in mass graves from Tuol Sleng prison.

However, we feel so emotionally distressed and don't wish to further see any pile of skulls anymore, so we go to the local shopping complex, Lucky Market.

The road in phnom penh is well paved but the car drive at the right side of the road (different from Malaysia). Many Toyotas and Hondas. Road is very dusty.

After checking in Sunday Guesthouse, we decided to walk to the nearest tourist spot, Tuol Sheng Museum. (45minutes under the hot sun seems crazy right??). We keep asking the people around for the exact place and use many hand language. Most of them cannot understand English, and with no preparation for khmer language the communication looks funny.

Tuol Sheng Museum is located right in the middle of residential area because it is formally a school and was converted to the prison during Khmer Rouge (1975-79)

After that we watched the movie S21 killing Field which is potrayed in a drama and i read the book "A Cambodian Prison Potrait" by Vann Nath.

My whole night was engulfed by the history which happens right here 30 years ago. When men became merciless, they will do anything unimaginable... LIke beast...

KUL - PNH, Buffet in The Plane

KL SENTRAL - KLIA - PHNOM PENH

Early morning, We set of from KL Sentral to KLIA Options available :

KLIA Transit - Duration : 36minutes Frequency : 30mins Fare : RM35

KLIA Express - Duration : 28minutes Frequency : 20mins Fare : RM35

KLIA shuttle bus- Duration : 1 hour Frequency : 1hour Fare : RM9

We reached KL Sentral at 8.30am. We are taking KLIA Express as we are late for check in. International flight required the passanger to check in their luagage 2 hours before departure time and boarding time is 30 minutes before depature.

After we bought the KLIA Express ticket only we discovered that luagage check-in for MAS airlines can be done in KL Sentral ! (not for AirAsia). We are still early for the shuttle bus actually.. :( Our Flight to Phnom Penh is scheduled as below:

In MAS flight, we get free unlimited meals and drinks, the word "FREE+ UNLIMITED" is a great news for Malaysian like me.

Mas crew serves Guava/ Orange juice before the main dish (bread, curry chicken rice, salad, whipped potato, butter+fruit jam)

After we finished our set meal, we ordered for the 2nd sets (although we are full) and also extra glass of red wine. The gigantic size Romanian engineer working in Schlumberger was suprised and pass a remark "you guys have good appetite". The air hostess was smiling at his remark as though we have eaten for ages. To cover up the uneasiness, i just said "the spices stimulate our appetite"..... feeling quite awkard in the situation.

To their surprise, Boo even TAPAU the food that we cannot finish. He even took the spoon and fork for "future usage".

Interestingly, the flight to Phnom Penh actually land at Siam Reap Airport first before going to Phnom Penh Internation Airport. The 2 hour trip therefore became 3 hours.

3 hours is just nice for us to finish up and tapau our Buffet in the plane !!!

Night Bus To Sandakan

28/6/2007 (Thursday) Rainy Night

There is NO bus from Semporna to Sandakan, but there is 2 bus from Sandakan to Kota Kinabalu daily which stops at the checkpoint of Batu32. Batu 32 is just half an hour distance to Sandakan. Only 2 bus leaves Semporna at 7.30pm to KK.

I have no time to lose as i don't want to spent for accomodation at Semporna. Hence, i rushed to the bus stop after the diving session. I got a ticket of RM30, however when i went abroad, they told me no place in the bus. After surveying the surrounding in the bus, i know this is not the place for a tourist like me to kick a fuss here. (Safety First :)) Try negotiate, 2 ways for me, first get refund and take the bus tmr 7am, 2nd, sit on the aisle( the pavement between seats).

No big deal sitting at the carpeted floor. Thats where i sit...... Nevertheless, the driver takes 6 more "last minute passenger" like me before the bus finally set off. I can feel the eyes focused on us like we are those PATI (Pendatang Asing Tanpa Izin) OMG !! Since we sat side by side, we chatted quite happily. They are all kind ppl, just that their malay is hard to understand. i remembered my feeling that time is unexpectedly calm and light hearted. No more hatred for paying the same ticket price but got myself a carpeted seat, morover I felt gifted to be given such a "seat" where i can feel exactly how "kampung" people here squeeze themself in such a fully seated bus. Thts their daily routine.

Almost all the passanger is bumiputra and it's a normal scene here. The movie played is Zombie Di Kampung. I prefer chinese style horror show as it really chills if it's horror based or amusing if it's comedy-based but PLS not like this one : Atas Pagar, nor a tickle feeling of fear when watching all amusing white-paint-covered"zombies" chasing the villagers, neither will you feel any sense of laughter. Conclusion, still have a far far distance to go in the Malay movies industry to go into the intrenational arena.

Maybe i was fated to endure the adventurous scenario here. Suddenly a police road block is just at the end of the road when we are about to leave Semporna. "WHat a luck", the driver sighed. He slowed down and ushers us to hide ourself among the pessanger seats and 3 of us went hiding in the toilet at the end of the bus. No mood of feeling suffocating, we just hope that the police is not going to detect us. Luck is at our side as one of the police just get up and shine the torchlight around and gets off the bus in 30 seconds, we stayed there until the bus moved on only we came back to our "seat". What a fantastic experience! If in penisular malaysia, this type of "hide and seek" action sure drive me mad and i sure argue with the driver. "Why should i stoop so low, hiding here hiding there like i had done something wrong while i had paid 30 bucks". Its better to cooperate here as i was like in the tiger's liar... Unexpectedly, i found that i feel satisfied of this real-life exprience. Sometimes, the outcome turn different if you don't get agigated easily.

Since i was sitting on the aisle, another unforgettable experience is my face was squeezed to the wall when i tried to plumpy lady passby. Her huge round buttock just squeezed my face to the wall as she have a hard time getting through the narrow passageway. Just imagine squeezed by a big backside, can feel my specs getting off... how much pressure she suppresed to my poor face... I try to snap a shot silently so i can remember this incident forever.Here is she...

Finally i reached Batu32 at 10.30pm and my friend with his father is already waiting in their 4WD.

Conclusion, after all the special experience tonight, i really didn't feel like blaming anyone, nor the conductor, ticket attendance neither the driver. Sincerely i feel lucky to be granted such a rare opprtunity for so many interesting encounter in few hours.

Just hope no more backside-slamming experience!! Haha
